  Pros

  First off, it's a low pH shampoo. I exclusively use low pH products from head to toe. After using fragrance-free shampoos for about 5 years, my five-year-old started saying my hair smelled funny. That's when I started looking for a low pH shampoo with a pleasant scent, and I found this one. Secondly, the fragrance is absolutely divine. It feels like I'm washing my hair with Chanel No.5! The ingredients are similar to my child's shampoo, so we're both using the Gotti shampoo now. Every time I wash my child's hair, they exclaim, 'Mmm, it smells so good!' It has a feminine, powdery scent - not like baby powder, mind you. The fragrance also lasts quite long. Lastly, it lathers well. Compared to other low pH shampoos, the foam is rich and creamy.

  Cons

  After washing, my scalp feels a bit dry, so I can't skip using a scalp tonic. I'm not sure if the cleansing power is too strong. With my oily scalp, I need to wash twice a day to keep it fresh.

  Tip

  For best results, first pre-wash your hair, then during the second wash, really massage the shampoo into your scalp with your fingertips. Because it's a low pH formula, if you wash carelessly, it might not effectively remove sebum from your scalp. You need to gently but thoroughly work it in to get your scalp squeaky clean.

  This is a review from The Hwahae Testers! First off, my scalp is combination to oily, and it tends to get quite greasy in summer. Even in winter, I don't really feel much dryness! Overall, I'm very satisfied! Lately, I've been switching to products with better ingredients one by one, so I recently changed to a low pH shampoo at home. However, that product lacked cleansing effectiveness, so I was a bit worried before trying this Gotti shampoo. But despite being low pH, it cleanses really well - I didn't experience any itchiness or oiliness! It's a product that nails both good ingredients and cleansing power! This was my first time trying a powder soap scent. The fragrance was nice, and I liked that it wasn't too overpowering! With great ingredients, a pleasant user experience, and a generous amount, this product is perfect as a daily item!

  I'm so satisfied overall that I don't have any major complaints! To be honest, throughout my use, there wasn't a single thing I found disappointing! (I noticed some other reviews mentioned issues with the pump, but I didn't find it particularly inconvenient!)

  This is a review from The Hwahae Testers! First off, I loved the large size. With a big family, we prefer at least 500ml bottles. The price is also quite reasonable for the amount you get. I was really worried about it being a low pH shampoo, as I've never had a good experience with low pH products before. They always lacked cleansing effectiveness. But this product lathers well and cleanses thoroughly! Even with my oily scalp, it felt like it was removing impurities effectively. Even without using conditioner or treatment, my hair didn't become dry or stiff. While many reviewers mentioned that the scent doesn't last long, I found it to be quite long-lasting. My sister, who's very sensitive to fragrances and often can't use certain products because of it, said this one's scent was fine.

  Everyone who used it at home had the same complaint - the pump is a bit stiff. You need to apply some force to press it down. It's not terribly annoying, just something you notice. My teenage sibling mentioned that their hair felt a bit slippery after rinsing. It seems this might not be strong enough to remove all the oil from a teenager's scalp. Out of the four people who tried it, two developed blemishes. We're not sure which ingredient caused it, but those with sensitive or delicate skin might want to do a patch test first.

  Tip

  The instructions say to leave the shampoo on for 2 minutes after applying. Make sure to use a scalp brush too. After the 2-minute wait and rinse, you'll feel like all the impurities, oil, and dead skin cells from your scalp have been washed away completely.

  As a first-time Hwahae Tester, here's my review: 1. Since using this shampoo, I've noticed no dead skin cells on my scalp. Embarrassingly, I used to have dandruff even when washing my hair daily. But after using this for over a week, I've seen a gradual decrease in flakes, and now my scalp is clean. 2. This was my first experience with a low pH shampoo, and it suits my hair perfectly. While I don't naturally have very oily hair, the cleansing effectiveness is great, and my hair feels stronger after washing. 3. Personally, I love the scent. My hair is very fine, so the fragrance lasts long, and it even improves my mood! It really maintains that fresh, just-washed feeling and scent for a long time. 4. While experiences may vary, so far I've had no scalp itching, no flaking, and no dryness = I'm satisfied!

  Tip

  1. It's not good to apply shampoo directly to your scalp when lathering. - Either lather the shampoo in your hair or - Spread the shampoo evenly with your hands before lathering 2. Drying your hair by shaking it can cause more hair loss.

  Pros

  I won this from The Hwahae Testers and here's my review after using it for a week! The scent is like powdery soap - a pleasant, clean fragrance that lasts quite a while. The shampoo itself is clear and colorless, with great ingredients. What I really loved is that it's mildly acidic, making it super gentle. During the time I used it, I didn't get any blemishes on my scalp that I usually do. I think its gentleness is its biggest advantage. The cleansing effectiveness isn't bad for a low pH shampoo either. I would definitely repurchase.

  The downside would be the cleansing power. While it's not terrible, it still left something to be desired. There's a sense of freshness, but it doesn't quite remove all the oil as effectively as I'd like.
