I applied the concealer using the applicator tip and blended it with my fingers. The finish was more silky and powdery than moisturizing. It seemed to have good staying power even after going out with makeup on, and when it faded, it disappeared cleanly without leaving a messy residue. I was satisfied with how well it covered blemishes. Also, I loved the scent when I opened the concealer - it had a pleasant herbal aroma that I personally enjoyed. Considering it's a concealer, the ingredients seemed well-thought-out, which made me happy overall. I was initially worried about the slightly pink-beige color, but it turned out better than expected. I've switched from using Luna concealer to just this! The coverage was surprisingly good. Some reviews mentioned it applies thickly, but I found it to apply thinly with great coverage, which I really like. I've always used Luna concealer a lot, but this seems to have less coverage, so I don't reach for it as often. The coverage is a bit disappointing.

I received shade 1 as an event prize! Although I usually use shade 23, I was worried shade 1 might be too light. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how naturally it blended without looking cakey. It works great as a highlighter when applied to the center of the face! It didn't pill even when layered over foundation (though individual results may vary). As my first concealer, I found it to be a solid choice. The coverage was a bit disappointing for me, though I'm not sure if it's because the shade didn't match my skin tone. Positive aspects I noticed while using this product: 1. True to its core function This concealer really lives up to its purpose. Unlike others I've tried, when you dab it onto blemishes or dark spots and let it set for a moment before gently patting, it doesn't disappear - it actually covers! Honestly, I'd given up on concealers because they seemed to vanish as soon as I tried to blend them in. But this one? It made me realize what a concealer should actually do! 2. Skin-friendly formula While I can't definitively blame other concealers, I've had breakouts after using some in the past. It's frustrating when you're trying to cover blemishes only to end up with more! With this product, I didn't notice any new blemishes popping up, so I felt comfortable using it regularly. Areas for improvement: 1. Color tone The concealer has a slight reddish undertone. Initially, it seemed to lean yellow, but after setting and wearing for a while, a reddish tint becomes noticeable. This might be visible on yellow-based foundations. However, if you use a pink-based foundation, it shouldn't be an issue! 2. Not a miracle worker I really had to stretch to find another downside... To be honest, perfect coverage is probably impossible for any concealer. Out of five uses, I only had blemishes appear once, and that one time might not even have been because of this product. First off, it's really difficult to apply and feels dry. The adherence is poor, and it breaks down terribly on the skin. It severely settles into pores and fine lines.

It has a unique herbal scent, which I found intriguing as it's my first time encountering it in a concealer. The shade is well-balanced, neither too yellow nor too red, offering excellent coverage for both dark circles and blemishes. My complexion is shade 13, and this concealer isn't far off - it's definitely brighter than shade 21, which I really like. Initially, it's moisturizing and easy to blend. After a short while, it sets to a matte finish with great adherence and staying power. I was a bit apprehensive about concealers after a bad experience with The Saem's concealer that caused a breakout, but I carefully monitored my skin's reaction and found no issues with this one. The coverage is quite impressive, and I really like the light shade in #1. I think it's great for applying on its own. If you're not careful, it can go on too thick. You need to gradually build it up using a dabbing motion.
