Pros
I bought this with my daughter last fall at Olive Young - I got the 'Masking Layering Ampoule Pore Minor Shot' and she got the 'Masking Layering Ampoule Hydra Shot'. We had several products to try, so we're only getting around to using these now. Personally, I love the scent! It has a watery texture like toner, and I'm satisfied with how it absorbs. When layered three times, there's a slight stickiness.
Cons
It's disappointing that you can't stand the product upright after use.

Pros
I initially used Mediheal's layering ampoule line for hydration and soothing, but this time I bought it because it's supposed to be effective for pores! After using a volcanic ash pore mask, it really works wonders! The texture is water-like and it has a lovely scent!
Cons
Unfortunately, since it comes in single-use containers, there are occasionally some defective ones. While some products dispense well, others are really troublesome... You have to tap them dozens of times to get the product out. Other than that, I'm not sure what else to say!
Tip
As we all know, it's better for your skin to use ampoules a few times a week rather than daily. That's why I mainly use ampoules only when I'm doing a mask routine. My routine goes like this: cleanse - toner - pore mask (volcanic ash) - cleanse - green tea cleanse - toner - ampoule. The next day, my skin looks absolutely amazing! I have super sensitive skin that's easily affected by environmental factors, but when I follow this routine, my skin feels incredible the next day!

Personally, I found this product to be pretty decent overall. It was adequately hydrating, making it great for winter use. To be honest, while it was a solid product, there wasn't anything particularly outstanding about it for me. It was truly just a reliable, no-frills option. I chose it because the ingredients seemed better than Hydra Shot. Currently, I'm using a Hydra Shot sample, but I prefer the scent of this product.

You'll notice a difference after just one night's sleep! While you won't see your pores visibly shrinking, the hydration is noticeably different. The moisture boost hits you before you even notice the pore-tightening effects. The amount is surprisingly generous, so it'll last a while. Being able to layer it three times gives you that extra pampered feeling. It feels great as it absorbs into the skin. It doesn't just sit on top, and even with three layers, it's not sticky. You can really feel it sinking in - it's like your skin is truly drinking it up! The scent is lovely too. It's not an overpowering artificial fragrance, so even after three layers, the texture and scent keep it feeling light and fresh.
Cons
When opening it for the first time, they tell you to turn the bottle upside down to get the air out. I boldly flipped it 180 degrees and... oops, it gushed out! What a waste. I managed to use it all on my face, but be careful when first opening it. Check how it comes out drop by drop. It's tricky to control just 2-3 drops, so be mindful of that too. After using this, my skin texture improved and became incredibly smooth! I bought both the Pore Minor Shot and Excel Toning Shot, and I'm currently using the Pore Minor Shot. I'm a bit nervous about the difference in ratings between this and the Excel Toning Shot... As someone with super sensitive skin, not only is there no irritation, but it also calms my small blemishes. This is truly the only product where I've seen real results from a mask or ampoule. The scent is also subtle and pleasant. Plus, all the ingredients are EWG grade 1, which is reassuring. The amount is generous too. This is honestly my holy grail! Everyone, you absolutely must buy this!!!

This is a review from The Hwahae Testers. Better late than never, here's my Hwahae Tester review. First off, I chose this ampoule because I have a lot of concerns about pores. I was pleased that the volume wasn't small (I was impressed when I received it, as it seemed larger than I initially thought). The texture is slightly watery, giving it a fresh feel when applied. It has a subtle aromatherapy oil scent. The absorption is excellent - it sinks in quickly after application. After patting it in a few times, it's fully absorbed. Plus, it's great for travel. The bottle isn't made of glass, so I thought it would be convenient to carry around on trips.

I was lucky enough to win this product through the Hwahae cosmetics survey! I received a set with 3 full-size products to try out. The bottles aren't too large - you could probably use one up in about 2-3 weeks, or a month at most. When you tilt the bottle, the product comes out drop by drop, but the drops are quite generous in size. I applied one drop each to my forehead, cheeks, nose, and chin, layering it 3 times. First off, it absorbs beautifully! I thought it might feel heavy, but it's not at all - it spreads smoothly and easily. The scent is lovely too! When I first applied it, the fragrance seemed strong, but it quickly mellowed out. I guess I got used to it pretty quickly! But the absorption is really where this product shines. It spreads easily, and after patting it in a few times, it just sinks right into the skin! There's no residue or slippery feeling - it absorbs completely. I have dry skin, so I usually moisturize right after cleansing. Normally, I wipe my face with a pad and then apply an ampoule. But with this product, I wiped my face, layered this 3 times, and then went straight to my moisturizer. I didn't use any other ampoules while testing this. After using the pad and layering this 3 times, my skin felt hydrated without any tightness! If you have very dry skin, you might still feel a bit of tightness, but for me, this product alone left my skin feeling quite hydrated and plump. I was really satisfied with how it applied, absorbed, and hydrated my skin! Of all the products I've tried through the Hwahae Testers program, this one had the best hydration - I was really pleased! As for pores, I didn't notice any improvement at all. It's only been about 2 weeks, so maybe it's too soon to see results, but if you're hoping for major improvements in these areas, you might want to lower your expectations. I'm satisfied just using it for the hydration benefits! Also, if your skin is feeling sensitive, you might experience a slight tingling sensation when you apply this. I noticed this when my skin was more sensitive during my period. Lastly, if you rub it in too vigorously, it can start to pill.
