I think I remember hearing it's made from fish scales. The ingredients are great. Highly recommended for those looking for glamorous glitter. The color is beautiful and the quality is excellent. Unless you're applying it to a large area, the thick applicator reduces its versatility. For daily makeup when you just want to add a small amount of glitter, it's difficult to apply sparingly because the applicator is so thick. That's why I don't reach for it often. While you could use a brush to apply it, there are many alternatives that make this less appealing. It's also on the pricier side. Apart from the thick applicator issue, the quality is quite good, so the product itself is nice. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinFeb 1, 2024
This eye glitter has large, prominent sparkles that really make a statement. While precise application with the applicator can be a bit tricky, I'm still quite satisfied with it. It truly elevates your eye makeup to the next level, giving it a polished, finished look. The color is a beautiful blend of pink beam with opal glitter, creating a clear, luminous effect. Interestingly, due to the large particle size, it also gives off a bit of a futuristic, cyber-chic vibe. The adhesion could be a bit better. If you don't press it on firmly and just place it lightly, the glitter tends to scatter and it becomes challenging to define specific areas. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinApr 21, 2023
The particles are medium-sized with a beautiful mix of pink, purple, and white pearls. It's absolutely stunning! Unlike other glitters that have low pearl density and leave mostly liquid residue that ruins your makeup, this one has high density and larger pearl particles, making it look glamorous. For a subtle yet pretty look, just dab a small amount with a brush right under your eyes and on the aegyo-sal (under-eye fat). Not recommended if you do makeup with warm tones. It leans cool-toned, so it might stand out in an unintended way. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAug 21, 2020
Unlike other glitters, this one stays put without irritating the skin or causing any reactions. The pink opal pearl is so beautiful, it's become my go-to glitter. The downside is that this type of formula tends to solidify quickly, which is a bit disappointing. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 21, 2020
I felt reassured by the vegan glitter ingredients. My eyes are quite sensitive, but this adhered well without any irritation, and there was minimal fallout. Stila products usually have glitter particles that are too large for me, so I only used them sparingly as accents. This one doesn't feel like it has large particles, making it great for a natural look. It's still shimmery though - the glitter is sparkly but with finer, more delicate particles. It's not overly flashy, making it perfect for everyday wear. The thin texture makes it easy to blend, and it's beginner-friendly. The applicator is also great for applying to the under-eye area. The color is undeniably cool-toned, with pure pink mixed with various colored sparkles. It has a cool pink base, but it's on the lighter side. As someone with cool undertones, it suited me perfectly. Those who prefer dramatic makeup might find this disappointing. Like all glitters, it can be a hassle to remove. While it comes off with a couple of swipes of eye makeup remover, cleansing oils or waters are ineffective - you'll end up with glitter all over your face. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 26, 2019
It's the Deep Undertone shade 22. As a well-known glitter enthusiast, I buy all the glittery eyeshadows I can find and love collecting them. I purchased this product after seeing a foreign model's eye demonstration in a YouTube ad. The color in the container looks beautiful. It's more suitable for cool-toned glitter makeup rather than an ethereal look (it has a strong color payoff). Unfortunately, there are more downsides. While it looks stunning in the container, when applied to the under-eye area, it becomes extremely dry and doesn't blend well, clumping instead (perhaps due to the heat from your hands, it doesn't spread smoothly). It also settles into fine lines under the eyes, creating a cracked appearance. Moreover, it's not as luminous as expected, and I'd advise against buying the Deep Undertone shades. The staying power is also poor, as it tends to fade quickly. I only applied it to the under-eye area. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 16, 2019
Highly recommended as a glitter for aegyo-sal on cool-toned skin! I've tried various Stila glitters before (check my other reviews), but they often made my eyes itchy, dry, and irritated. So I took a break from glitters for a while. Then one day, I stumbled upon Dear Dahlia's Instagram and was mesmerized by their stunning pink and opal pearl combination. I couldn't resist buying it, and I'm so glad I did! My eyes feel perfectly fine, and it's become my daily go-to. True to its vegan brand ethos, it's free from harmful ingredients and gentle on the skin - that's what I love most about it! It applies smoothly without clumping due to its moisturizing formula, and its excellent adherence prevents any smudging. The beautiful octagonal case is just my style! Unfortunately, Dear Dahlia has limited offline stores, making it inconvenient to test their products in person. The price point is also quite high. I'd love to buy a few more shades, but I'm broke and waiting for payday... Also, basic cleansing alone isn't enough to remove all the glitter. You need to use cotton swabs and cleansing water to thoroughly clean it off. It's easy to control the amount you apply. A light application gives a subtle, eye-defining look perfect for daily wear, while a bolder application creates a glamorous effect ideal for evening outings. The product looks even more beautiful in person - photos taken with a phone camera don't do it justice.
