When massaged, it becomes oily and effectively removes makeup. These days, most cleansing oils work well, and this one cleanses makeup thoroughly. I often use Double Wear or Hera Black Cushion as base makeup, and it removed them cleanly. It's also gentle on the skin. However, it struggled with mascara and eyeliner. It removed pencil gel eyeliners well, but brush pen types were really difficult. Lipsticks came off easily. It emulsifies well, and the finish doesn't leave your skin feeling dry, which was nice. The price feels a bit steep, and the quantity isn't particularly generous. It might be burdensome for those who wear makeup daily. As someone who enjoys using cleansing oils to extract whiteheads and blackheads, I was disappointed that this product doesn't work for that. I felt this cleansing oil would be suitable for those with dry skin.
