Personally, I found that mixing it with a more hydrating and brighter foundation and applying it with a damp puff gave the best adherence.

The color is still a bit dark. The coverage is also limited as it's a cushion. For dry skin, it can be a bit drying, so even with a solid base, it may crack over time, and the cosmetic fragrance is a bit strong, so it may not be preferred depending on personal preference.

The color feels brighter than foundation. The existing foundation, even in lighter shades, was quite dark, but this has a slightly, just slightly, brighter feel.

However, the Guerlain Parure Gold foundation seems to have combined the best features of Estée Lauder (quick and effective setting, good coverage) and Armani (beautiful, non-cakey finish).
