I'm not sure if it's exactly 38 grams, but it's definitely the heaviest face mask I've ever seen! Before applying the mask, I let my skin absorb some of the essence from the pouch. The texture is so rich that after applying it a couple of times, my face feels incredibly firm! I think you could even skip the mask and just use the included essence, it's that good. The waffle-shaped sheet is something I've never seen before, but wow, does it adhere well! I'm not sure if it's the waffle shape or the cotton material, but it sticks perfectly to my face. It's so saturated with essence, which probably helps it cling so well. I've tried several Cocosta products by chance, and they're surprisingly good! Why am I only discovering this brand now? If the price of this face mask is reasonable, I'd definitely repurchase. It's amazing how firm my skin feels just from the mask alone. I only need to apply a tiny bit of cream afterwards, and my skin feels incredibly hydrated! With the heater on full blast lately, my face has been losing moisture, but this waffle mask seems like it would be more than enough to keep my skin hydrated.
ConsThe only downside, if any, is that because it's so rich, it tends to attract dust. It's not a major inconvenience, so I wouldn't call it a big flaw, but if you don't like the sticky feeling, I'd recommend using the mask first and then applying the ampoule separately.
