I'm not sure if it's dead skin cells or the gel itself, but it comes off in flakes as soon as you apply it It seems to cause quite a bit of skin irritation. After using it for the first time, my hands were completely peeled 
jh******Normal SkinRecommendedJun 11, 2020Although it's for face and body, I use it on my body. When you apply it and rub, dead skin cells come off like exfoliation. It leaves my skin moisturized and smooth. If only it didn't have phenoxyethanol, it would have been really great. That's the disappointing part. Also, after using it, my skin gets a bit red. It seems to cause some irritation.
