When my complexion became dull and my skin felt sunken and thin, I learned these issues were due to decreased collagen, so I decided to try this product. Here's my review after about 2 weeks of use: 1. Texture The consistency is different from regular serums. It's like a thick collagen blob - not droplets from the dropper, but a viscous texture that falls in a continuous stream. True to its 'milky' name, it has a translucent, milky appearance. It feels like collagen is being infused into your skin, which I loved. The texture isn't just light - you can really feel its power. 2. Application Despite its viscosity, it spreads easily like water when rubbed between fingers, absorbing well. When applied, it gives a radiant, dewy finish as if the nourishing ingredients are bursting onto your skin. Once fully absorbed, it leaves a silky-smooth feeling without any stickiness. I was slightly worried about it being greasy due to its consistency, but it keeps the skin hydrated inside while giving just a subtle glow on the surface - perfect for my needs. 3. Effectiveness While not immediately noticeable, after 2-3 days of use, my skin felt firmer and more elastic. Looking in the mirror, I could see fine lines were less visible and my complexion looked brighter due to the plumping effect. Interestingly, a coworker recently asked if I'd done something to my face, saying I looked different. Whether it's thanks to this product or not, it certainly boosted my mood. I'll update with more feedback after continued use. 4. Ingredients The ingredients seem really safe and gentle. I'd never heard of vegan collagen before, but knowing this product uses 100% vegan collagen instead of animal-derived collagen makes me trust it more. I checked for harmful ingredients and found none, and the EWG ratings are all good, so I feel safe using this functional serum.
ConsI used to think serums were sticky and should only be used at night. However, this product absorbs so well that I can use it in the morning and apply makeup right after. So I ended up using it both morning and night. But because it absorbs so well, those with dry skin might find it insufficient on its own in winter. I think pairing it with a richer cream would work even better. Also, due to its viscosity, it's hard to get the last bits out of the bottle when it's almost empty. Fortunately, the bottle opening is quite wide, so I've been able to use the remaining product by tipping it onto the back of my hand.
TipIn the morning, I use it right after cleansing and misting, like a boosting essence. It definitely helps subsequent skincare products adhere better to my skin and gives a natural glow. On workdays, I apply cream, then this serum before makeup, and finish with cushion foundation. It creates a dewy makeup look and makes my skin appear smoother, helping my makeup go on better. At night, I use about twice as much as in the morning. If I use 3 drops in the morning, I'll use about 7 drops at night, applying a thick layer and letting it absorb. The next morning, my skin feels incredibly smooth to the touch - like I've had a professional treatment. I'd recommend using it 1-2 times before special occasions for that extra boost.
