Sometimes I do crave a spicy, traditional skin fragrance, so I alternate using this with the regular Gillette shaving gel.
But this Skin Tech fragrance is really good as described.

1. Formulation
As it is a shaving gel, it is very good for people with thick facial hair. Apply a toner before shaving and apply this product before the toner evaporates, and you can shave without any irritation.

2. Fragrance
The fragrance is very nice. It has the same scent as the Timber product from Old Spice, which is also a P&G brand.
It is not a spicy, traditional masculine skin fragrance.
It has a soft woody + coconut scent, but it is still masculine.

Even though it's called a 'skin-tech', it does cause some irritation.

The lather is great, the foam feels nice, and it adheres well to the skin.

Even with the cap closed, the gel leaks out a bit, so it looks dirty from the outside.

The fragrance and softness were better than expected. The softness was more pronounced than the cooling sensation.

The product pumps out well when dispensed, and forms a nice lather when applied to the skin. I enjoyed the cooling sensation. It also felt less irritating. With its good value-for-money, I'm considering repurchasing!

This is a decent shaving gel. I didn't really find any major downsides.

To be honest, I don't really notice much difference in using shaving creams like Gillette, Nivea, gels, or foams. They all work well for me without any major discomfort.
The new 'Skin Protect' product is similar to the existing ones. Foam has a richer, bouncier lather compared to gel, which has a smoother feel. My father prefers gel over foam.
