Color payoff Oh, the color payoff is absolutely fantastic! When swatching on the back of your hand, you might think, 'Hmm, it's warmer than expected,' but once applied to the lips, it develops a slightly cooler undertone. I actually wanted to try and compare it with Russet Rose, but unfortunately, that shade has been discontinued... ☹️ I've been obsessed with cool-toned lips lately, and this one really hits the spot. It's become a must-have in my bag... I feel uneasy without it! 😄 When you dab it on lightly, it gives a sheer wash of color that's perfect even with a bare face. 2. Application It has a pretty smooth application, and it blends incredibly well. Just gently patting it creates a beautiful gradient effect, so you don't need any special skills or tools – super convenient! 3. Scent There's a faint chocolate scent, but I didn't find it bothersome at all. Even though I'm not a fan of fragrances in lip products, I was quite satisfied with this one.
Cons1. Dead skin cells Even though it's not an extremely matte formula, it applies very smoothly at first, but as time passes, it seems to draw out moisture, causing some dead skin cells to appear. But I forgive it because the color is so pretty... 2. Longevity Despite being called 'Mad Matte', its staying power isn't extraordinary. I'd say it's somewhere between a velvet-type lipstick and a completely matte one. If you prefer a fully matte finish, you might be slightly disappointed. (My standard for matte is that it should barely transfer to a straw when drinking. The Clio one does transfer a bit, so I don't consider it completely matte.)
TipWhen applied together with Mamonde's Bouquet Nude, it creates an irresistibly beautiful look...
