He was thrilled with the Lush shaving cream I gifted him! The butter-infused cream formula seems to protect the skin really well. The scent is more subtle than the Dirty spray. He says it provides ample hydration after shaving, unlike some drying shaving creams. Though I initially thought it was pricey, he says it lasts longer than expected! I love the fresh scent and smooth texture. It does its job well as a shaving cream. It seems to be quite rich, which might be why I get blemishes where I use it. I wouldn't recommend it for those with oily or combination skin. Also, like other Lush products, it comes in a pot format, which can be inconvenient to use.

While it doesn't have the refreshing feel of a foam cleanser washing away, I appreciate that it doesn't leave my skin feeling dry. The price is devilishly high! As someone who often gets nicks and irritation when shaving, I've found this cream significantly reduces skin irritation. It's pricey... like all Lush products, it comes with a hefty price tag. Seems to be great for sensitive skin. It doesn't cause my skin to flare up or turn red. As expected from a Lush product, the strong fragrance is a bit off-putting. It doesn't lather much. It provides excellent hydration and allows for a smooth shave. The fragrance is pleasantly subtle. The ingredients could be better considering the high price point. When I shave with a razor, it feels like a combination of oil and cream, which makes for a smooth shave without any tightness or irritation afterwards. It seems perfect for sensitive skin types like mine. Lush has an image of not using harmful ingredients, so it's disappointing that this product contains a few components that aren't great for the skin. I bought this because I love Lush products, and as expected, the scent of Lush Dirty is absolutely killer! However, the price is downright wicked... But it does last a long time for a toothpaste!
