It was effective even on small pimples, and I noticed a temporary pore-tightening effect as well.
ConsYou can feel it drawing moisture from your entire skin... Hydration is absolutely essential after use. Also, perhaps due to its strong formula, there's a burning sensation if left on for too long. Use with caution and adjust application time carefully.

The sebum that was clogging my pores has completely disappeared!
ConsIt can sting sometimes. The pads are sometimes stuck together, making them difficult to separate!

For me, Essential is the sweet spot - it's effective without being too harsh on the skin. I've finished the Original and Intensive, and now I'm ready to try Sensitive. It's been particularly helpful in treating keratosis pilaris on my arms.
ConsThe only downside is that it's only available through international shipping. Other than that, no complaints.
TipIf you have keratosis pilaris, make sure to moisturize well after using the pads. For the delicate skin on your nose, reduce the frequency of use compared to other areas.

When I first used it, my skin felt tingly and sensitive, and I saw a lot of dead skin cells coming off. I thought I'd made a mistake buying it, but I persevered for a month, and my skin was reborn! I had a complex mix of issues - tiny bumps, allergic breakouts, and flaky skin. My makeup wouldn't sit right, and people would constantly ask what happened to my skin (it used to be flawless with no visible pores). After using this, I'd say about 80% of my skin issues improved. If you use it consistently for about two weeks, you'll see visible results. I later found out it contains retinol, which explains the amazing effects. The blue container is stronger than the green one, but once you get used to it, it's just right. With AHA products like this, you might find yourself wanting something stronger over time, but this one stays consistently effective. I love it so much that I can't do my skincare routine without it now. If I skip even one day, I can feel my skin getting oily and rough. It's affordable and truly a holy grail product - I can't live without it!
ConsThe scent is quite strong, with a noticeable alcohol smell. It's absolutely not recommended for those with dry skin... it might actually cause an explosion of sebum production or make your skin even more desert-like and flaky. The AHA content is quite high, so for first-time users, it might be better to start with the green container and work your way up. It also contains retinol, so it's not recommended for those avoiding that ingredient. It's incredibly effective at removing excess oil, so combination skin types might experience some flaking in certain areas - the pads really absorb all the oil. I'm taking off one star because it's not suitable for all skin types.
TipFor those with combination skin, after prolonged use, you might notice some flaking in areas with fewer oil glands, like the U-zone (chin area). When this happens, I layer an essence and then some Vaseline on top. If you do this before applying sunscreen and makeup, it's completely unnoticeable. The flaking is due to dryness, so applying Vaseline for a day usually resolves the issue by the next day. Any type of essence works fine. I initially used Vaseline to prevent secondary infections from blemishes, but it turns out it also works as a primer. So whenever my skin feels dry or before applying makeup, I always use the essence + Vaseline combo. It gives your skin a beautiful, dewy glow.
