For me, it seems to be more effective than pharmacy products for minor breakouts. I find that the gel type works better for me than oil-based treatments. ConsAfter using this for spot treatment for a few days, the area becomes dry, slightly itchy, and develops dead skin cells. Also, while I personally like this scent, the tea tree fragrance is very strong. Those sensitive to smells might be hesitant to use it. TipRecommendedApply the spot treatment after thoroughly moisturizing your skin following evening cleansing. Even with proper care, the treated area may still become dry. When this happens, gently remove it with a cleansing water, apply cream, and reapply the spot treatment. It usually calms down within a day or two. For pustular acne, use a pharmacy acne cream as a spot treatment.
