It absorbs better than lip balm - more like a lip cream or essence!

I don't see the need for using this product on its own. They say it's better to use it over lip cream or balm, but it feels like it's just doing the job of applying a generous amount of hand cream and wearing vinyl gloves. And the packaging... oh my! It's impossible to open without nails, and if you have them, they might break. The lip-shaped package is cute, but it's incredibly impractical.
