When applied alone on the eyelids, it tends to look a bit muddy and seems to darken the overall complexion. Compared to Laura Mercier's Cashmere, it appears to have a slightly more orange undertone on my eyes. However, if you apply a bright base color generously and mix it with a white-toned shadow, it becomes more flattering, perhaps due to the increased whiteness. It seems more suitable for filling in the inner corner of the eyes. Pros: 1. Incredible pigmentation: Even a light application provides excellent color payoff. As a light summer cool tone, I'd advise those who find heavy pigmentation makes their makeup look cakey to use only a small amount. 2. Excellent adherence and longevity: The shadow adheres exceptionally well to the skin. Due to its great adherence, it lasts remarkably long. Once applied, it stays put until you remove your makeup. 3. Subtle shimmer: There's a slight pearl effect, making it less dull than matte shadows. With proper amount control, you can create a sophisticated eye look.
ConsCon: Some fallout While it's much less than Laura Mercier products, there is still some fallout. When using a brush to apply, the powder tends to kick up quite a bit, so you need to tap off the excess a few times before use.
