You might want to try using Rice Paper instead of darker shades for a subtle brightening effect. Unless you already have a fair complexion, this will noticeably lighten your eyelids. However, my mother, who doesn't have much natural eye contour, says she likes how it makes her eyes look brighter. There's a bit of excess powder fallout to be aware of. On days when I'm too lazy for a full cleansing routine and don't want to bother with glitter on my aegyo sal, I just apply this and head out.
