It applies so easily and smoothly. It's like a creamy crayon with a slight grittiness. The color is a clean, not-too-deep red that suits cool-toned skin well.

Even when applied in front of a well-lit mirror, my lips ended up a little uneven. To get a symmetrical application, I think using a pencil or some kind of tool with a tip would help me line it up better.

When testing in the store, I expected the color of the Mac Relentlessly Red to be what I purchased. But it's actually a bit more similar to the Mac Fired Up, rather than Relentlessly Red? To be more specific, it's just a tad lighter in color than Fired Up. It applies smoothly and evenly with a soft, velvety finish that's matte, but not overly drying at all. The signature marble casing of Dear Dahlia is lovely, and the handwritten text next to the main compartment adds a nice touch of elegance. Overall, I'm very pleased with this product. Oh, and my personal coloring is cool-toned for winter, and this color suits me perfectly!

The price point is a bit higher than expected. Other than that, there's really nothing I'm disappointed with.
