✓ Made with gentle ingredients that don't irritate the skin ✓ The scent is not off-putting ✗ The price is extremely high. I'd only consider buying it during a 50% off sale ✗ The quantity is too small for the price ✗ While it may vary for individuals, the product seemed to sit on the surface and required extra effort to absorb well Storing it in the refrigerator and applying it cool seems to have a slight soothing effect - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJan 24, 2021
The ingredients and nearly fragrance-free scent are probably the best aspects. Plus, it's nice that it's an environmentally conscious brand. If you have oily skin that produces enough oil and moisture naturally, this might be a good recommendation...? Many reviewers mentioned it was sticky, but it feels a bit different from that... It's more like... your skin feels tacky? When you apply and pat it in, your face and hands stick together with a weird texture. It's not even moisturizing...? If anything, the outer layer of skin feels tight, while the deeper layers feel dry. When I stayed at a friend's house, I had to reapply this cream 5 times. At home, I didn't notice the lack of hydration as much because I usually layer a hydrating mask on top. After applying this, if you smile a few times, you can feel tightness around your mouth and eyes. (And this is even after using 2 ampoules before the cream....sigh) I'm wondering if I should save it for after spring passes. I even bought another new one during a sale.... Not sure what to do with it now. Sigh. I wish I knew some tips too... - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 20, 2020
First off, I trust B.plane's clean ingredients without hesitation. Plus, I got it at a promotional price, so I'm using it with great value for money. The packaging design is pretty and sleek, and I love how practical it is - you can easily see how much product is left inside. The fact that it's fragrance-free is also a big plus for me. When applied, it doesn't absorb quickly into the skin. Instead, it feels like it's coating the surface, leaving a slightly floating sensation. I've found that mixing it with a bit of facial oil helps it blend better and absorbs well into the skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 3, 2020
Let me first describe my skin type: - Dry with lots of blemishes and super sensitive skin - Breakouts explode during seasonal changes or before my period - Mainly have blemishes and acne scars around the chin area I was looking for a cream that wouldn't irritate my sensitive skin First off, this cream feels really gentle There's no irritation, and being a gel type, it absorbs lightly into the skin and feels clean Plus, the packaging is super sleek and pretty I didn't feel like it improved deep dryness with just one application It felt like it was just sitting on the surface So I had to apply and let it absorb twice For those with very dry skin, apply once, let it absorb, then apply again for extra hydration - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinNov 29, 2019
*This review is written after using the product for about two weeks as a selected member of The Hwahae Testers! 1. A light, refreshing finish that's not overwhelming - True to its name as an aqua gel, it has a non-greasy, refreshing finish! As someone with acne-prone oily skin who avoids heavy toners or rich creams even in winter, I think this is suitable for people like me. It might be slightly drying for those with dry skin, feeling more like a hydrating moisturizer? 2. Skin-friendly ingredients - You can check this on Hwahae, but it really has no concerning ingredients and is extremely gentle! While I'm not particularly sensitive, I do have acne-prone skin, and this cream calmed my skin without causing any new breakouts or aggravating existing ones. I think even those with super sensitive skin could use this well. It seems like a very versatile cream. 3. Mild scent - Actually, the product itself has a barely noticeable scent, almost to the point of being unscented. This is likely due to the absence of added fragrances and the good ingredients. As someone who's very sensitive to scents and can't use products with strong or harsh smells, I found this one really agreeable! I think it's even better because it's not a polarizing product, but one that can be widely used by everyone. 1. Slightly sticky - It might feel a bit tacky... It seems to be a bit on the sticky side. I use a light emulsion and hydrating moisturizer with toner in the morning, and replace the moisturizer with this product in the evening. The texture doesn't give that instant absorption feeling where your skin just drinks it up! Instead, it feels a bit sticky on the surface for a while, and then at some point, you notice it's disappeared into your skin...? At least that's how it was for my skin. 2. Feels a bit like it's sitting on the surface - This relates to what I mentioned above. If you're planning to use it in the morning, you might want to pat it in well for better absorption and be careful when applying your base makeup, as it might cause pilling. Despite these points, the product itself is really versatile and good, so I would consider repurchasing it! I don't have any specific tips, but since it's an aqua gel, it would probably pair better with a refreshing toner or emulsion. It's such a versatile and basic product that there's not much to say... it just works!
