Texture The texture is not a typical moisturizing cream texture, but rather the most matte cream texture among whitening creams. 2. Application The application is matte. I really like the matte finish. The sample description says it has a rich moisturizing feel, but it's not quite that moisturizing. On the back of my hand, it glides on smoothly without any bumps or unevenness, but on my face with pores and uneven texture, it applies a bit dryly. However, I would recommend mixing it with a moisturizer if using it as a makeup primer. The most notable point is that it can be used for night skincare as well! Normally, tone-up products contain whitening ingredients and sun protection, but this one has a sun protection ingredient as the first ingredient. Even though it's suitable for nighttime use, I personally plan to use it only as a daily moisturizer based on the ingredients. 3. After Absorption It doesn't have as much of a tone-up effect as a color-correcting primer, but it does brighten the skin tone noticeably. It has a nice, luminous glow as the name 'Lumi Layer' suggests. However, since I have relatively large pores on my nose area, if I apply it without mixing with a moisturizer or adjusting the amount, it can accentuate the pores. Overall, I really like the matte application. There's no itchiness or eye irritation, and the subtle glow under different lighting is pretty. Adjusting the amount properly can also help with pore coverage.
Cons1. The ingredients are a bit disappointing... Even though it can be used at night, I'm still hesitant to use a sunscreen ingredient as a nighttime skincare base.
TipFor those who wear makeup, you can just apply this after your skin prep and then start your makeup routine.
