You know how a soccer ball is made of pentagons and hexagons to form a sphere? Well, these masks use holographic pentagons to conform perfectly to the contours of your face. The fit is incredible, with any excess material neatly folding away. The adhesion is seriously impressive. Plus, since the sheet isn't cotton but holographic, it seems to wrap the essence, preventing it from evaporating. This allows the skin to absorb the essence for longer. I was worried they might be cheap due to defects, but I think they're just under-promoted. I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase. The eye and mouth holes are perfectly sized for my face too! The essence drips quite a bit - there's a lot of it. It can drip onto your eyes when you apply the mask, so I squeeze out some excess before putting it on. Once it starts to dry, I pat on any leftover essence. If these were full price, I might have hesitated to buy them. You can apply makeup over it without any pilling.
