My current skin condition: I have combination skin with acne-prone dry skin. I had previously used the Dokdo Toner and found that it worked well for me without causing any major skin issues, so I thought the Dokdo Pad would be similar. The pads do feel a bit more dense compared to the toner, but that's likely due to the pad format. The soft side of the pad is great for hydrating and replenishing moisture in the skin, while the rougher side helps with exfoliating and removing dead skin cells. This versatility allows me to use the pad in different ways. The pads themselves are thin but still feel nicely moisturizing. Another plus is that the pads come with a dispenser, which is convenient and helps maintain hygiene when taking them out one by one, unlike some other pads I've used. Overall, since there don't seem to be any harmful ingredients, my skin hasn't experienced any major issues or breakouts from using these.

While it's supposed to be fragrance-free, there is a slight alcohol-like scent. But aside from that, it seems pretty much perfect!

Pros
I've been using the Dokdo Pad consistently since last May. As I have sensitive skin, I was wondering how to manage the peeling, and this pad seemed like a good option as the ingredients are gentle and it can be used as a toner replacement. I had a lot of blackheads on my nose and frequent breakouts, but after wiping my face with the pad morning and night, I no longer get peeling in the winter and my blemishes have gradually improved. I don't see any black spots on my nose anymore. My body is also extremely dry, and in the winter, the peeling would get out of control and flake off. But after wiping down the dry areas on my body as well, the moisture management seems to be better, and there's less peeling throughout the day. So I've been using it on my face and body.
Cons
The only downside is the smell... It has a peculiar plastic-y or silicone-y kind of scent. Before getting used to it, I had to hold my breath while wiping.
Tip
When my skin is sensitive, I only use it in the morning before makeup. And on days when it feels a bit dry, I use it twice a day, morning and night. I tend to get really stubborn, non-popping pimples that take weeks to go away on their own (ugh, the scarring!). On those days, I wipe my face with the pad at night, then apply the Dr. G Soothing Cica Cream like a mask and pat it in thoroughly. In the morning, the pimple has usually calmed down.

Before bed, I take it out of the fridge and apply it - it's so cool and moisturizing that when I wake up, my skin feels like a baby's!

As a complex intellectual, this pad gave me a refreshing, moist feeling, not a sticky one. I usually put a lot of effort into keeping my skin moisturized, and this pad was packed with moisture. When I applied it to my face, I could feel the moisturizing effect. The pad wasn't rough, but it wasn't exactly soft either - it was in a sort of in-between state. It was very gentle, and it did a great job of soothing any blemishes or bumps on my skin. I really liked it.

The ingredients were great, so I had a lot of trust in it. The applicator made it easy to use it hygienically. It was convenient to use because it was clean and fast! And a face mask came as a free gift, which was nice.

I had high expectations when I bought it, but it didn't seem to suit me very well. First of all, it had a bit of a chemical smell. I'm not sure if it's because I changed my foam cleanser or because I started using this, but I've been getting a lot of pimples and blemishes since then. I'm not sure if this product is naturally low in moisturizing properties, but the moisturizing effect is practically non-existent. I've been using it as a cleansing toner and face pack, and it's been great without any trouble! After cleansing, I can feel the pores getting refined, and using it as a face pack helps lower skin temperature and recharge moisture, which I really like! It's also easy to use, and the gentle ingredients make me want to repurchase once I run out!! The included spatula is great for hygienic application.
