This dual case with mirrors on both sides is simply a joy to look at - it instantly lifts my mood. But it's not just about the pretty case! The eyeshadow colors are gorgeous and apply beautifully. The light pink has a powder formula that blends well with minimal excess. The deep red has a creamy texture, smooth application, and intense pigmentation. I'm thoroughly satisfied with the formula, color payoff, and overall feel. Dear Dahlia products seem to have great ingredients as well as beautiful colors, so I use them with confidence. I experienced no eye irritation or other side effects, which is noteworthy as I have super sensitive skin prone to contact dermatitis. Overall, it's such an excellent product that I plan to buy more shades. If you have sensitive skin, you can trust this product and give it a try.
ConsWhile the case is pretty, applying too much pressure when opening it can cause nail marks on the shadow. Also, product tends to accumulate around the circular inner case. Even gentle cleaning with a cotton swab doesn't keep it tidy for long, which is a drawback. As shown in the photo, applying the product directly to bare skin without base makeup can result in some pilling. Be sure to apply base makeup before using the eyeshadow.
TipFor the cream formula, lightly dab with a puff and blend for a soft, watercolor-like effect.
