It definitely strengthens nails right to the tips. After repeated cycles of DIY gel nails and removal, my nails became thin and would tear or break if left alone. I've been applying this just once in the evening after washing up, or at most twice a day, for about a week. Surprisingly, not a single nail has torn since! Especially when my nails get waterlogged from washing hair or doing dishes, they used to feel wobbly when pressed at the tips. Now, that's gone - they feel noticeably firmer. Plus, I like that the silicone tip makes it easy to apply.
