Pros

1. Although I have sensitive skin, I did not experience any skin troubles at all during the entire usage period (it even seemed to improve my skin troubles...!!!) 2. Since my skin is combination, the dry areas are very, very dry, but the balm-like texture kept my skin moisturized, and there was no tightness even after cleansing 3. ❣️Hello, this is a Hwahae Trial Reviewer's review❣️ The set consists of a cleansing balm, spatula, and cleansing towel/sponge. When it comes to cleansing products, the important factors are cleansing power, finish, and moisturization. 🌺The cleansing power seems to remove most things except mascara. When using the cleansing balm alone, mascara, eyeliner, and tint were still left behind, but when using the cleansing towel together, only mascara residue remained. 🌺In terms of finish, the cleansing balm ranks as follows: tissue > cream > balm > oil, with the tissue having the best finish. 🌺The moisturization is quite hydrating. As a cleansing product, it's slightly drying, but less so compared to other cleansing products. +Hwahae rating...I raised it from 4 to 5 stars! The reason is that when I first posted the review, I didn't have much time to use it, but the more I use it, the more I love it. Without separate exfoliation, my skin becomes baby-soft after using this product. I was also surprised that it removes blackheads. However, the sponge seems to retain residue over time, and I'll need to buy a new one eventually, but it hasn't caused any issues yet.

I was selected as a Hwahae Trial Reviewer and have written a review. Due to personal circumstances, the review is a bit late. I received the product well :) I used it for a total of 6 days, mainly using it for cleansing in the evenings. *Fragrance The first thing I liked was the fragrance. It had a sweet peach-like scent, and personally, I didn't find the typical oily balm factory-like unpleasant smell, and it didn't give me a headache, which was good. *Cleansing, Texture Being a balm type cleanser, I would scoop it out with a spatula and melt it with the warmth of my hands, and it would melt smoothly. It felt like a heavier oil than I expected. When applied to the skin, it felt more substantial than my previous oil cleansers. During cleansing, I felt a bit stuffy. And when I cleansed, it removed simple skin and makeup makeup well. However, I'm not sure about eyeliners, mascaras, especially waterproof products - it felt like they were removed, but I had an uneasy feeling, so I always did a second cleanse. *Irritation There was no stinging when it got in my eyes. There are products that sting when they touch the skin, but this product's soft and quickly melting texture didn't cause any stinging or irritation, which was good.

A day after using this product, a couple of blemishes popped up, so I was a bit skeptical. But I used it for a few more days, and it does seem like this product was the culprit. Even though there was no stinging or obvious irritation, it seems like the oil layer didn't rinse off my skin very well, and the blemishes kept coming up. I felt like it took a long time to properly rinse off the product. Normally, even if it takes a while, the oil would be diluted and rinsed off in about 5 minutes. But as I mentioned, the thick texture of this product meant that even after rinsing, there was a lingering oily residue on my face that wouldn't go away. It might work well for dry skin types who don't mind that occlusive feeling, but personally, I found the heavy, sticky sensation quite uncomfortable.

Tip

Doing sufficient rolling massage with this product gave me the impression that it helped control sebum and refine skin texture. At first, I thought it might just be my imagination, but after using it for a while, I could really feel the difference. If you focus on rolling and massaging the T-zone and nose area, you can also see some effects in terms of blackhead removal.

I'm a bit late with the Hwahae Trial Reviewer review due to my travels. However, I diligently used the cleansing balm during my trip and will provide an honest evaluation. First of all, the cleansing power is absolutely amazing!! I've been using cleansing oils up until now, but in my personal opinion, the balm is far superior in terms of cleansing performance. I didn't experience any greasiness or stickiness at all, and I felt that this product really suits me well.

Cons

I was very interested in repurchasing this as I felt it worked so well for me, but after searching, I found that the regular price is 60,000 won... This is a Hwahae Trial Reviewer review. I usually just rub my nose with cleansing oil and wipe off eye and lip makeup with cleansing tissues or lip and eye remover, and then finish with a cleansing foam. However, this cleansing balm didn't sting my eyes and had less oiliness than cleansing oil, so it was great for removing blackheads from my nose and as a substitute for cleansing tissues to remove eye makeup. And it removed even heavy makeup very cleanly, which I really liked.

Cons

The price is a bit burdensome to purchase directly, but the amount seems to be more than the cleansing balms I've used before.

Tip

For those who do multi-step cleansing, using this balm and then a two-step cleansing with a cleansing foam would be great. Of course, this is only if you don't have full makeup on! And be sure to use the included towel.

*Hwahae Trial Reviewer Review* - Skin type: Combination, occasional acne 1. Moisturizing I applied the balm on my face and massaged it, then rinsed it off with water. (I didn't use the included towel as it was inconvenient) I didn't use any additional cleansers after that. After washing, my skin felt incredibly moisturized! Even on days when I didn't apply a moisturizer, my skin wasn't very dry. I usually tend to have very dry skin, but that wasn't the case this time! It seems to have a similar feel to the oil balm from Neworigin. 2. Glow I'm not sure if it's just my imagination, but my face has a healthy glow. Personally, the great moisturizing effect and this aspect make me want to purchase it. 3. Cleansing power As it's an oil balm, it removes makeup very effectively. 4. Volume The volume is enormous, so it should last a long time even with generous use.

Cons

1. Packaging The container is too large, and the styrofoam lid was very messy to remove. It kept getting stuck to my hands... 2. Fragrance I personally like the herbal(?) scent, but it's quite strong. The fragrance might be divisive.

Normally, even after double cleansing, I still feel like something is left behind and my skin feels a bit dirty, and I would sometimes even get breakouts the next day. But with this product, it feels like it really cleanses deep down, and my skin feels so clean afterwards. The packaging also comes with cleansing cloths and a detailed instruction manual, even though it's not in Korean. That attention to detail made me feel like they really took care of the product. And it even comes with a spatula! These days, my skin has been so dry and cracked due to the cold weather and wind, but after cleansing with this product, my skin doesn't feel tight at all. I think it's because the product is quite oily, so my skin doesn't feel stripped after cleansing. Overall, I'm very satisfied with using this product.

First of all, the ingredients! I received the product through the Hwahae Trial Reviewer program and left a review. 1. The balm-type cleansing was very good at gently removing makeup. 2. When I woke up, my skin felt moisturized and supple (I have combination skin). 3. The citrus scent and the rich yet smooth texture allowed me to use it without much resistance.
