This fragrance is famous for its similarity to the Daddy-O shampoo scent :) So I think many people who love the Daddy-O scent will be drawn to it. Comparing it to Daddy-O from my perspective, the initial scent is quite different, but the lingering notes are identical. Daddy-O has a strong powdery scent at first with a bright feel, while the V perfume has a deeper floral scent with woody oil notes. However, as time passes, only the characteristic violet lingering note remains, and this is when the scents become identical. That's probably why they're known as the same scent! If you're buying it because of Daddy-O like I did, you might find the top notes very different from what you expected at first, but I think you'll find it more charming as time goes on! It's a wonderful scent, but if you were expecting an exact replica of Daddy-O, it's not a 100% match! Lush, please give us Daddy-O as a body spray!
