The ingredients are not bad either. The price is reasonable, making it great for everyday use.
ConsThe staying power is poor and it seems to crumble easily, which is disappointing.

They took a medium-chroma muted pink, dumped in a bucket of gray, added a bucket of brown, and threw in a bucket of grayish purple to create this muted shade. This is genuinely a color that light undertone, less dark, deep-toned foreigners would wear. But when I put it on alone... it's exactly the color of chain-smokers' lips that have turned a muddy shade from too much tobacco. For me, it really makes my complexion look terrible, so I might have to use it for lip contouring or correcting lip corners. There's such a big difference between this and the color swatches on the official website... How is this supposed to be a rosé color??? It's ridiculous. This is more like a shade Jessie or Kylie Jenner would wear. It's so harsh that if you put this on, you could immediately cosplay as a patient. I spent a good while laughing at myself in the mirror. ■Texture: It's a sheer, moisturizing style that applies smoothly. There's no particular issue with dead skin cells or clumping. The texture itself doesn't have any notable drawbacks. The only slight disappointment might be its staying power. ■Longevity/Adherence: Given its sheer, moisturizing nature, what can you expect in terms of longevity? It tends to fade easily, so you need to reapply frequently. But in these mask-wearing times, it's a hassle, so I just touch up quickly when I take off my mask. The adherence is good - it's smooth without feeling like it's sitting on top of the skin. ■Value for money: First off, the Essence brand itself is incredibly affordable, and it's vegan too, which makes you feel good about buying it. While I messed up choosing this particular color, it's still a brand with great quality for its price - truly a god-tier value-for-money brand!
ConsThe color is extremely harsh. Being sheer, the staying power is a bit disappointing, and the scent is reminiscent of old-fashioned mom lipsticks.
TipIt might be barely usable as a lip liner or for lip contouring.
