My skin is incredibly dry, and most products get absorbed and disappear right away. But this lotion does leave a bit of a dewy finish on my face. Of course, this is when I've used the entire Kinder Brise line - the lotion, cream, and oil.
ConsThey said it was a gentle product, but as soon as I apply it, my eyes start stinging terribly. Even if I avoid the eye area and only apply it to the lower cheeks, it still burns just as much. It's not just a slight discomfort, but my eyes water profusely, turning them red and puffy. The stinging sensation persists even after I've washed it off, and it takes a couple of days for my eyes to fully recover and for my vision to clear up. I've tried using it on different occasions, but no matter what, it always causes the same intense stinging. I'm wondering if I'm the only one experiencing this? This is the first time a skincare product has ever made my eyes feel this way, so I'm quite surprised. I'm not sure what ingredient is causing this severe reaction.
TipIt seems this lotion may have good moisturizing effects for very dry skin types. However, I'd recommend testing it out first to see if it stings your eyes before committing to regular use. Otherwise, you may end up going through the same painful experience I did.
