The water-like texture absorbs well. It provides decent hydration and doesn't pill, making it comfortable to use both morning and night. I have combination dehydrated skin that's super sensitive with redness. My skin is particularly vulnerable to alcohol-based products. My biggest concern is my pores. This essence has a transparent, lightweight texture. I love how it absorbs well without feeling sticky. I was shocked when I saw the ingredients list. It absorbs beautifully and the fragrance is absolutely delightful. Even with my sensitive skin, it suits me perfectly. The price is a bit wicked, if I may say so. But apart from that, it's absolutely wonderful!

The absorption has really improved! After applying the Black Tea Infusion and serum, my skin feels so plump and firm, it's almost sticky. I can really feel the anti-aging effects of the Black Tea line now! Especially if you have skin that breaks out when you're stressed or eat greasy food, I highly recommend this! You can feel your skin barrier getting stronger. The price is the downside... Fresh products work so well with my sensitive skin, but they're so expensive. The 30ml size is useless - definitely go for the 50ml. (Speaking as someone who regretted buying the 30ml and now only buys the 50ml.) Make sure to use this with the Black Tea Infusion or the Kombucha Essence! The Black Tea Serum definitely works better with an essence-type toner rather than a water-type. You'll really feel the firming effects of the Black Tea when used together with the Infusion. Just use the whole Black Tea line together. Your skin will truly transform. It has a nice, firm texture and is generally pleasant to use. As a devoted Fresh brand enthusiast who has tried almost all their products, I'd say this serum is a solid middle-of-the-road option among their range. For those with extremely dry skin, it might lack sufficient hydration and nourishment. It seems more suitable for those with normal to slightly dry skin types. The pleasant scent and balanced richness provide a luxurious hydrating experience without feeling heavy. Despite being an anti-aging product, it doesn't feel intimidating and leaves the skin with a satisfyingly firm finish. It's disappointing that multiple PEGs were used to create a transparent formula while still incorporating oils.
