First off, it's way too expensive. With my oily skin, if I bought the full-size product, I feel like I wouldn't even use half before it goes bad...

I tried this with a sample I received along with the day cream. It's lighter than the day cream but still boasts impressive hydration and nourishment. The absorbs well is fantastic - the amount I've put on my face in the photo is enough to cover half my face. As someone with oily skin, using just this much was perfect - no dryness and no oil overload.

1. Sometimes it's a bit of a hassle to warm it up in your hands before applying, but if you just spread it on without doing so, you won't properly activate the ingredients, resulting in reduced effectiveness. 2. The price is steep... but then again, it's premium skincare, so maybe that's okay?

Since it's a night cream, you absolutely must apply it before bed. The fact that you need a separate day cream and the price point are potential drawbacks.

It has a unique texture that feels like you're applying a sheet mask. When you wash your face in the morning, your skin feels incredibly smooth and firm. As someone with super sensitive skin that usually reacts badly to problematic ingredients, I've never experienced any issues with Helena's products.
