This lightweight oil serum absorbs quickly and leaves almost no residue on the hands, which I really liked. While the yellow one seems popular, I chose this 'Frizzy Hair' version. It made my hair smoother and softer, making me want to run my fingers through it constantly. My hair is fine and lacks volume, so some flyaways at the ends are inevitable, but overall it seemed to tame the frizz well. Using a flat iron after application made my hair look even more lustrous. The scent is a deep floral, reminiscent of intense body products. I wasn't keen on it at first, but after wearing my hair up for about 10 hours, I could still detect a subtle fragrance when I let it down. I got used to the scent over time, and I think those who wear their hair down would appreciate it even more. The packaging appears to have been updated, and I liked that it's refillable. Buying it with a refill during a live sale made it somewhat more affordable. The price is on the higher side, which made me hesitate initially. After trying one product and liking it, I've been trying others in the line, but even with discounts, they still cost over $50, which can be a bit burdensome. Also, each pump dispenses quite a lot of product, so I only press it about 2/3 of the way down, which seems to be enough. I'm also using the no-wash product from the same line, and since my hair is thin and only reaches my chest, I don't need to use too much. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 13, 2021
As someone who used to battle severe curls with monthly straightening treatments and, in a burst of 20-something bravado, subjected my hair to double bleaching and countless vibrant colors that would put Power Rangers to shame, all while frying it with high-heat styling tools, I was the hairdresser's nightmare. They'd joke that I might as well glue empty beer cans to my head. That's when this product was recommended to me. After showering, I apply this little miracle worker, blow-dry my hair, and watch as my once sandpaper-like strands transform into something akin to smooth paper. Then, I apply it again before using my flat iron, and voila! My hair evolves into a silky, paper-thin dream. Now, I don't need any other oils. It's absolutely fantastic - definitely deserves a perfect score! For those with oily hair, I'd recommend a lighter product. Like all oil-based treatments, there's a chance this could make your hair look greasy if you're prone to oiliness. Pro tip: Use this in combination with the Kerastase hair mask, and you'll see your hair transform from silky to absolutely luxurious! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 22, 2020
This is an oil you apply after shampooing and towel-drying your hair. It has a lovely scent and performs well. The performance doesn't seem to justify the price. I think it might be better to use a more affordable oil. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedSep 18, 2019
My hair is frizzy when it rains, thick, coarse, damaged, and dry. I first tried this as a treatment at the salon and loved it so much that I searched online to buy it myself. Even if you don't use the same Kérastase shampoo and conditioner, this product really helps to tame my hair. It has a water-like consistency and smells wonderful. The price is steep... but it's worth every penny. I'll likely repurchase when I run out. You can apply it to damp hair that's not dripping wet. Personally, when I use a flat iron or hair straightener, I like to apply a tiny bit more as a finishing touch.
