The scent is like chocolate, which you might be tempted to bite into (especially if you're sleepy). This seems to be common in MAC lipsticks, but personally, I prefer food scents to stay with food. It's not my favorite, but thankfully, the scent doesn't linger after application.

I used the shade 'RED COQUETTE'! The color is somewhere between red and pink, maybe a 3:2 ratio of red to pink. As for pigmentation, in the first photo below, the top swatch is one application, and the bottom is three. Honestly, I can't see much difference. The packaging is amazing - the cap is magnetic! It feels so satisfying to close, and it's convenient too. You can just toss it in and it snaps into place. This lipstick works well with any makeup look. The shade is versatile, and the formula is comfortably moisturizing. Oh, and there's a subtle shimmer, but it's not too noticeable.

The color applies sheer with one swipe. For a more vibrant and beautiful color payoff, you need to apply it twice.

While everything else is great, the staying power is a bit disappointing. You need to carry it with you and reapply throughout the day.

I received the Mineralize Rich Lipstick as a gift and loved it so much that I went to the department store to repurchase it. To my dismay, I found out this line had been discontinued! They told me I could only buy from the remaining colors, so I ended up getting the Red Coquet shade. I can't remember my original color, but it was pretty too. Red Coquet is absolutely gorgeous! Most lipsticks tend to be drying, but this one is incredibly moisturizing. It has a lovely scent and beautiful color. It's such a shame it's been discontinued!

Before using the lipstick, it's a shame to have to cut off the top part, but I'll have to grit my teeth and do it to get the color to show up better.

I've used it for a bit longer than 3 months, and although it hasn't been a full year yet, the color is just so pretty - a slightly pink-tinted red.

The use of the <Red Coquet> color
As a lipstick enthusiast, especially a lipstick addict, I've tried many different lipsticks, and I've used MAC Bullets a lot in particular. The Bullets are much more moisturizing than the Bullets, so they're especially good to use in the winter.

I've been using the Red Rocket gift and it's great. Since it's not matte, I can apply lipstick directly without any issues.
