ProsThis was the first Guerlain fragrance I ever purchased and used, and I've been wearing it for over 20 years now. I often get asked what perfume I'm wearing, and on days when I've spritzed on Idylle, even men ask me to share the name of the scent. It's a timeless fragrance that makes you feel elegant regardless of the season, perfect for year-round wear.
ConsThe bottle was recently redesigned, but I personally preferred the original teardrop-shaped bottle as it had a more distinct identity. Now, it seems Guerlain is aiming for uniformity with all their perfume bottles featuring the Bee motif. Almost all of their fragrances, except for high-end exclusive lines like Muguet, now come in bottles adorned with the bee emblem, which is said to be the emblem of Napoleon's royal family. While I understand the nod to their history as a prestigious perfume house, I still find it a bit disappointing.
