It's an emulsion, but it feels like a cream. The hydration is so good... It might feel heavy and suffocating on the skin, and I'm getting blemishes as if my pores are clogged. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMay 21, 2021
The good thing is that since it's an emulsion, it feels moisturizing and nice when applied It seems my skin doesn't agree with this product as I'm getting blemishes... The ingredients are also a bit disappointing - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJan 15, 2020
This is a review from The Hwahae Testers. My skin type is dry. I usually apply toner, emulsion, cream, etc., but even after applying all of these, my skin still feels dry due to my extremely dry skin type. The emulsion isn't a runny type, but rather has a rich, soft texture. Among the types I use, it's similar in consistency to the Hada Labo emulsion. When applying the emulsion, it absorbs well into the skin with just a little patting. It's the type that works well under makeup, giving my face such a glow that it's visible. Using it every morning and evening really improved my dry skin. I loved the deeply hydrating feeling so much that I applied it consistently. Surprisingly, it has almost no scent, making it feel like something you'd get from a dermatologist. The feeling was similar to the Hada Labo emulsion, but this one seemed less thick. After applying the emulsion, I'm not sure why, but I started getting small blemishes like millet rash and some breakouts appeared. After application, the emulsion did feel a bit oily. For those with very dry skin, this emulsion might still leave you feeling quite dry. While I didn't find it extremely drying, I could still feel some dryness. For those with extremely dry skin, I recommend applying more essence, toner, or cream along with this emulsion to combat dryness. Those with oily skin might find it too rich, so using just a small amount would be best!
