I bought it without much thought, but the blackhead removal was so effective that I plan to buy it again. I tend to wear heavy makeup, and I consider cleansing to be important, so I first remove all my makeup with a lip and eye makeup remover, then melt it down further with a cleansing oil, and finally wash my face with a cleansing foam. So I'm not sure how well this cleansing oil removes makeup, but it was definitely effective for my blackheads.

I use it just enough to melt my skin makeup! I sometimes rub the butterfly zone for about 5 minutes and the blackheads melt out little by little! It has a nice fragrance! It's a refreshing grape? Apple scent.
