The product's purpose seems a bit unclear. I don't find myself reaching for it often. It tends to sit on the skin and feels somewhat awkward to use, so I don't find myself using it much. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMay 18, 2024
It's great to use before makeup as it reduces oiliness a bit, making it an excellent base! If you apply it even slightly thick, it pills and separates. It's best to apply a very thin layer. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 6, 2024
As someone with oily and sensitive skin, I'm usually wary of products that can cause immediate burning, redness, or blemishes. Thankfully, this didn't trigger any of those issues. I was particularly concerned because of past experiences with white creams that made my skin excessively oily, but that didn't happen here either. It seems to be gentle enough for my skin without causing irritation. It didn't provide a natural-looking finish on my skin. There were patches where it appeared too white and areas where it settled into creases, creating a noticeable white cast. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinApr 1, 2024
I took advantage of a free shipping deal to try this out without any financial burden, and it surprisingly wasn't bad at all. Unlike most brightening moisturizers that tend to be thick and heavy, this product feels wonderfully hydrating. It tends to clump up after some time. The product doesn't seem to adhere well to the skin. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinMar 13, 2024
Hmm... Good points? To be honest, there aren't many. Oh, I guess it does dry quickly and leave the skin feeling matte? Wow, this brightening moisturizer is seriously the worst I've ever used. I typically finish my skincare routine with toner > serum > cream > sunscreen > brightening moisturizer, but I've never experienced anything like this before. It pills up completely! I usually apply cream products in the morning with a sponge, patting them on in the direction of my skin grain, including sunscreen and brightening moisturizer. But this... it pills, gets stuck in my pores, and while I'm still applying it, it dries up and starts flaking off. It's a disaster! Horrified by how my face looked, I quickly wiped it all off with a damp sponge and applied BB cream instead (which I rarely use). The second day I tried applying it, I thought maybe using my hands would work better than a sponge. But nope, same result! The pore-clogging and emphasizing is intense, and it even gets stuck between my eyebrow hairs, leaving white residue. I had to wipe it off again. Sigh... Some reviews suggest patting it on, so I'll try that one more time tomorrow. If it doesn't work, I'm tossing it. This is truly the worst of the worst. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinFeb 20, 2024
It felt nice when I first applied it. The product absorbs well and leaves the skin feeling quite hydrated. However, when I applied it for the second time, it pilled a little. That was slightly disappointing. It gives a dewy, glowing effect. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinFeb 9, 2024
I got this at a great price. It really brightens up your complexion when applied. It can look a bit cakey if you're not careful. You need to pay attention to how much you use - even a little extra can make your skin look overly pale. It seems like you only need to apply a small amount. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinFeb 6, 2024
I love achieving a radiant complexion, so I often use base colors that are about one shade lighter than my skin tone. However, this can lead to the disaster of my neck looking noticeably different. This product was great for addressing that issue. I used to avoid applying foundation or cushion to my neck because it would leave unsightly yellowish stains on my clothes. Instead, I'd just live with the tone difference. Luckily, I came across this product and was quite satisfied after trying it. The initial application feels moisturizing, but it dries quickly and adheres well to the skin. It's not greasy and applies thinly, making it perfect for use. It's also great for a light brightening effect when you don't feel like using BB cream or foundation. When I tested it on the back of my hand before applying it to my face, I didn't notice much. However, when I used it on my face, it tended to clump and separate quite badly. So, it seems you need to be very thorough with your skincare routine before using this brightening moisturizer. Like most brightening moisturizers I've used, it feels moisturizing when you're rubbing it in, but as soon as it starts to set, the hydration disappears, leaving a dry and stiff feeling, which is disappointing. I tried mixing it with BB cream, but personally, I wasn't satisfied with how it felt (I used Pimongche BB cream). - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 24, 2024
At least it doesn't cause blemishes... But I guess it's just not the right fit for me. What a shame! If you don't have a solid skincare base and your skin is dry, it'll just sit on top of your face... It feels like there's something floating on your skin. Even if you apply tons of hydration, it might not help. It really doesn't work well for me. Make sure to moisturize your skin thoroughly before applying this. If you don't apply it correctly, you might end up looking like you've dusted your face with flour. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJan 14, 2024
The lightweight texture of this brightening moisturizer made it easy to apply. It leaves a whiter cast than expected, which might be noticeable on darker skin tones. The mineral sunscreen ingredients give it a stiff feel similar to physical sunscreens, which is a downside. I wish it had a softer texture.
