Following my experience with the Mugwort Essence, I was lucky enough to be selected by The Hwahae Testers to review the cream as well! As someone with super sensitive skin, there are days when even my usual moisturizer can cause tingling around delicate areas like the sides of my nose. However, the Mugwort Cream felt incredibly gentle - not a hint of irritation! The texture is lovely and it absorbs well. While the effects aren't dramatic, it does seem to have a soothing effect. It helps calm blemishes to some extent, and I noticed it was particularly effective in reducing redness. The scent is similar to the Mugwort Essence, which I found pleasant and not bothersome at all.
While the cream feels wonderful to use, the price is quite steep for the amount you get. As someone with dry skin, I found it wasn't quite hydrating enough on its own. To combat dryness, I had to apply multiple layers of the Mugwort Cream. This meant I went through the product much faster. While it might work well for oily skin types, it definitely lacks sufficient hydration for those with dry skin.
Although it may not last long, as someone with dry skin, I found that layering the Mugwort Cream multiple times worked well. It didn't cause any blemishes, and despite not being very rich, it provided decent hydration and seemed to soothe my skin effectively. If it weren't for the price, I'd definitely keep repurchasing. I think it would be especially great for those with oily skin due to its non-greasy formula! If I had to choose between the Mugwort Essence and the cream, I'd go for the cream. In my experience, the cream had a more noticeable soothing effect.
