Nothing beats it... Let me share my method with you: (I only use it for night care) 1) After completing all skincare steps except cream, I finish by applying a generous amount of the mugwort cream (really thick layer) before bed. -> When I wake up after doing this, those tiny bumps are noticeably calmed down. This cream isn't heavy at all and has a light texture packed with hydration, so it's not burdensome. With consistent use, it quickly soothes and settles those little blemishes. 2) Apply a thick layer of mugwort cream and then use a modeling mask. -> When you apply the modeling mask over the thick layer of cream, it might not go on smoothly at first. Just keep applying and it'll eventually spread well. Note this! + If you have this cream, you absolutely must pair it with a modeling mask to boost the synergy... It's really great for improving skin texture too. Remember, consistency is key with any product for proper care! You'll see real synergy with regular use! Though it's a bit pricey, this product is truly worth it. The scent was really hard to get used to at first, and I thought I wouldn't be able to use it. But because the effects were so good, I kept using it and eventually got used to it. It's so, so good... My older sister still can't get used to it and doesn't use it though. But for those desperate for skin care, you'll probably adapt like I did if you just keep using it :)
ConsThe scent might be a bit challenging to get used to at first. But once you adapt, you'll use it every day because it's so good.

This is a lightweight gel-type cream. Due to its light texture, I'd highly recommend it for oily skin types if used alone as a cream. For combination dehydrated skin, it could work well as a summer moisturizer. It absorbs well, spreads easily, and doesn't feel sticky. It's also gentle, making it suitable for everyday use. There's a slight mugwort scent, which I personally enjoy. It gives me the impression that I'm applying something healthy to my skin, making me feel at ease. Initially, I thought it was just a decent, light cream for summer use. However, one day when my skin became itchy and red, I applied this cream to the affected area out of desperation. To my surprise, after a short while, the irritation subsided and the itching disappeared. Since then, I've been using this cream specifically on areas where my skin flares up, and I'm almost finished with the jar. It's truly excellent for soothing the skin, so I highly recommend it for those with super sensitive skin!
ConsThe price is a bit steep, and the jar packaging makes it challenging to use hygienically.
TipI've been using this as a soothing cream by applying it to sensitive areas and letting it work its magic over time. If you, like me, occasionally experience itchy and red skin flare-ups, I recommend using it this way.

The ingredients are gentle and non-irritating. It's great for use in summer. After using it, I noticed my skin became smoother. It provides hydration and adequate moisture with a lightweight feel. The product absorbs comfortably into the skin, making it my daily go-to.
ConsIt has a unique earthy scent that might not be everyone's cup of tea.

I love the soothing scent of mugwort.
ConsBecause it's so light, it's hard to expect deep hydration.

The absorption is quite quick and effective. No blemishes to report.
ConsDue to its light texture, it can definitely feel drying when used in winter. If you have dry skin, it's better to use this in summer or layer another cream on top for extra moisture.

ConsUnfortunately, due to its lightweight nature, it seems to lack in hydration, which is a bit disappointing.

True to its soothing nature, it absorbs well even when applied generously. It has a distinctive mugwort scent, which I personally enjoyed.
ConsSome people might dislike the fragrance. The glass jar packaging feels somewhat unhygienic when scooping out the product, but I intend to use it liberally.

It seems to help smooth out skin texture. Highly recommended for summer use! There's a subtle herbal scent, which isn't unpleasant.
ConsI had high expectations for Missha's Artemisia line due to its popularity, but it fell short. I found Isol's mugwort essence to be much better. However, the Artemisia cream was better than the essence. The essence was too rich, while I quickly used up the cream. The essence just sat on my vanity for a long time. I'd only recommend the cream.

ConsI've recently developed redness and my skin barrier has weakened. As a result, I prefer products that absorb well but are also rich and have a thicker consistency. This product is thinner than expected, similar to a lightweight gel, which is a bit disappointing. It might be great for summer, but feels insufficient for winter use.
TipIf you have a solid skincare routine, this might be too light. Consider applying a generous amount of emulsion or cream on top.

It has a subtle, herbal scent reminiscent of mugwort, which I personally enjoyed. I didn't experience any blemishes and found it versatile enough to use in the morning or before makeup. I've almost finished the entire jar.
ConsFor those with dry skin, it can be quite drying unless it's summer. Even when I thought I applied a generous amount before bed, my skin felt dry the next morning. It's said to have a soothing effect, but I couldn't really notice it. I'm not sure about its value for money - I bought it on sale as a 1+1 deal with a serum, but still felt it wasn't worth it. I won't be repurchasing.
