My routine: I apply a hydrating essence, then spread the CeraVe Baby Emulsion and pat it in. Once it's absorbed (on dry days, I repeat the emulsion step), I finish with a moisturizer that has both hydration and oil to seal everything in. I really hope these three products won't be discontinued or reformulated. They're my holy grail products!

The biggest drawback is that it's difficult to purchase in Korea, and even iHerb, which used to stock it regularly, doesn't seem to get it in stock often. Why did they withdraw from the Korean market? It's so disappointing. The fact that it's almost oil-free is both a pro and a con. It's a bit lacking as an all-in-one product, so I'm hesitant to highly recommend it. When I use this alone, the moisture evaporates and my skin feels dry, so I'm currently using other products to compensate for this. I've been using a combination of three products, including this one, for over two years now, and it's working well without any major issues. At my age... it's kind of funny that I'm using a baby emulsion.

I had previously managed to reduce my blemishes by about 90% using products from the same company, but I wasn't completely free from them. I spent a lot of time wondering what the issue could be. After experimenting with various products, I've come to suspect that silicones in skincare might be causing minor blemishes. That's why I started using this product, which is similar to CeraVe Moisturizing Emulsion but without silicones. It seems to have reduced my blemishes to about 97-98%. It's almost oil-free (see the 'cons' section for more on this). Since it's not greasy, and I dislike sticky products, I'm also using it as a body lotion. It's great that I can use one product for both face and body.

Since CeraVe isn't imported to Korea, I had to order it directly from overseas.

For those with dry skin, it might not provide enough hydration during the winter months.

It's pretty decent overall. After applying, you barely feel like you've put anything on. As someone with oily skin, it worked well for me.

In winter, I mix it with a slightly richer emulsion. Used this way, it absorbs well while leaving the skin feeling hydrated.

Those with super sensitive skin might find it a bit tingling at first. It probably won't suit those with dry skin either.

It looks rich, but it absorbs well and sinks into the skin nicely. There's absolutely no sticky feeling.

I recommend this for those with very oily skin who worry about breakouts due to product greasiness. You don't need to be concerned about excess oil. If you have dry skin, you'll need to layer another occlusive product immediately after applying this. This is best suited for those with oily skin types.

The Baby Emulsion is much drier compared to the Moisture Emulsion. Even in midsummer, it's challenging to use alone for those with dry skin. Once fully absorbed, it can make your skin feel completely parched.

The emulsion has a sherbet-like texture, giving a hydrating feel without any oiliness despite being an emulsion. You can think of it as having a consistency between a typical emulsion and a cream. Being fragrance-free, it has a slight rice wine scent when first squeezed out, but this dissipates quickly. It's incredibly gentle and absorbs well without any stickiness. My family members with oily skin love it, saying it doesn't leave any greasy residue.

It's quite disappointing that phenoxyethanol is listed near the top of the ingredients, suggesting a high concentration. As an emulsion, I suppose it was unrealistic to expect the same level of hydration as a cream. With my extremely dry skin, I still feel some deep dryness, so I layer it with a cream or oil. There's also a slight burning sensation when first applied.

I decided to give this a try due to its affordable price considering the ingredients. It contains niacinamide for brightening, hyaluronic acid for hydration, and even ceramides! Plus, it's free from parabens. The texture feels velvety soft on the skin and absorbs without any sticky residue.
