When I was pregnant with my first child 12 years ago, I was searching for 'gentle yet deeply moisturizing skincare' that both my baby and I could use. That's when I discovered the Atopalm brand! Even now, 12 years later, their famous red-capped MLE cream is still incredibly popular! My child still uses it, and I used their stretch mark cream during my pregnancy - I believe it was called 'Atopalm Stretch Care Cream'. I applied it diligently from early pregnancy until my due date, focusing on my lower belly, thighs, arms, and around my chest. I gave birth without a single stretch mark! I think the new 'Atopalm Maternity Care Stretch Mark Cream' is probably an updated version of that. If it was good 12 years ago, it must be even better now! After using the Atopalm Maternity Care Stretch Mark Cream for 4 days, I can say it has a richer texture than regular body emulsions, but it absorbs well despite its thickness! My whole body is extremely sensitive, and incompatible cosmetics usually cause immediate blemishes, but I had no issues with this one, just like before. The hydration is absolutely top-notch! I applied it after showering in the evening, and the next day my skin didn't feel dry or tight at all. It's gentle, deeply moisturizing, and even claims to fade existing reddish stretch marks. If you're looking for an effective stretch mark cream, I highly recommend the Atopalm Maternity Care Stretch Mark Cream!
Both the previous Atopalm Stretch Care Cream and the current Atopalm Maternity Care Stretch Mark Cream come in tubes. I wish they were in pump bottles instead - it would have been more convenient!
As you probably all know, mixing the cream with oil when applying will provide even better hydration and make your skin more supple, helping prevent stretch marks. While the product claims to reduce redness from stretch marks before and after pregnancy, I believe it's more effective and quicker to start using the moisturizing Atopalm Maternity Care Stretch Mark Cream for prevention before stretch marks even appear.
