At first, I used to pump it into my hands and then apply it to my hair, but it seemed to absorb more into my hands. Now I apply it directly to my damp hair.

I didn't experience any blemishes. However, I'd recommend not applying too much, as it can make your hair feel heavy if you use more than necessary.

I've been using this for about 2-3 months. You can really feel how much more hydrated your hair becomes after use. When I wash my hair in the morning and use this product before going to work, people comment on how shiny my hair looks. Even in winter, my hair has no static and looks glossy. The formula is quite thin - if you pump it into your hand and tilt your palm, it'll start to run off. This makes it easy to distribute evenly through your hair.

 As I have long, damaged hair, I use this product in combination with the Aveda Nutriplenish Daily Moisturizing Treatment Deep Moisture as the base, and then add just a drop or two of this product as a finishing touch.
When my hair is wet, I apply about 50 cents worth of the Deep Moisture product from mid-length to ends, and then add a drop of the multi-use hair oil. I'm very satisfied with the results in terms of hair condition and styling.
I often wash my hair at night and sleep on it. If it's a bit frizzy the next day, I'll add another drop of the oil to the dry hair, which makes a noticeable improvement.
While I wish the ingredients could be even better, this combination works best for me in terms of the formula and fragrance.

 Since this is a rich oil-based product, it's easy for it to weigh down and make the hair feel greasy, so proper dosage is important. I recommend using just a small amount initially, and adding more if needed.
As I have long hair, I use another hair essence product as the base, and then use just a drop or two of this product as a finishing touch.

 My skin is also sensitive, and my scalp often develops seborrheic dermatitis, so I was looking for a hair essence with fewer harmful ingredients and ended up switching to this product.
I researched and tried other natural hair essences, but they had a very nutty, seedy oil-like smell that lingered in my hair and caused it to become greasy quickly, leading to breakouts. So I settled on this product after trying various options.
Hair essence products are generally full of questionable ingredients, but this one has relatively better ingredients compared to others. The formula, scent, and usage experience are all good.
The scent is fresh and herbal, with a sweet tropical fruit note in the dry-down that's not overpowering.
It can be used on both wet and dry hair. After styling, I just lightly apply it to the ends, and it doesn't weigh down the style or make my hair feel greasy. It leaves my hair shiny and moisturized without any stickiness.
I was also told that it can be used as an overnight hair mask without needing to rinse it out, which is a great benefit. It's safe to use on the scalp as well, for hair packs or massages.
Rich oils can sometimes leave a greasy residue, but this product feels refreshing and doesn't have that issue.

The downside is that if you fail to control the amount, it can make your hair look greasy. The product itself has a slightly heavy feel, so it's best to just apply a light amount to the ends of your hair, avoiding the scalp.
And if you apply too much after your hair is fully dry, it can make your hair clump together and actually reduce volume! So it's important to use just the right amount when your hair still has some moisture in it.

I've always had thick, wavy, and bleached hair, so managing my hair texture has always been a concern. But then I discovered this product, and after washing my hair and applying it while my hair is still damp, it really calms and nourishes my hair, leaving it looking healthy and glossy when it's fully dry. I also notice significantly less static electricity:-) I highly recommend this for damaged or bleached hair👍🏻
