With silicone-based ingredients like dimethicone, cyclopentasiloxane, and cyclohexasiloxane prominently featured, this product could easily double as a hydrating primer. You might not even need an additional primer when using this. It creates an excellent base for makeup, helping it adhere beautifully. As a moisturizer, it boasts impressive hydration thanks to glycerin, butylene glycol, and hydrogenated poly ingredients. The silicone oils also form a protective barrier, contributing to decent moisture retention. The cream's delicate pink hue, likely due to its high lotus water content, is visually appealing and sure to catch the eye of many users. The included spatula is a thoughtful touch, showing consideration for hygiene. The packaging itself is sleek and attractive, adding to the overall appeal of the product.
Despite its silky texture from the silicone oils, I found it lacking in deep hydration during winter months. It doesn't quite cut it for intense moisturization needed in colder seasons, especially for those with dry skin. The ingredient list isn't ideal for everyone. Personally, I'm not a fan of silicone-based moisturizers. It also contains two types of PEG, phenoxyethanol, and artificial fragrances, which might be concerning for some users.
