A small amount can envelop your entire body in fragrance. When I applied it and washed, the scent was quite strong, but after fully washing, the scent wasn't as strong as I expected, and that level was actually good. I mainly use it as a bath additive, and when my muscles are really sore or my shoulders are very tense, I'll dissolve some in the water and massage it in with my hands.
