When I only apply sunscreen, I use this product alone! My husband also uses it after applying sunscreen, and we're both using it without any skin reactions. It works wonderfully for us!
ConsI'm currently on my third bottle and haven't found any drawbacks yet!

My skin would react badly to even the slightest amount of oil or any product with oil content. Even products known for being gentle would irritate my skin. I tried this product because it's famous, and here's what I found: #Cleansing effectiveness ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ While I don't usually wear mascara, I tested it with Clio's waterproof eyeliner, and it removed it well. However, it does require some rubbing. It might be a bit challenging for mascara. It removes all other makeup effectively. #Irritation ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It doesn't sting. However, if you have blemishes or open wounds, it might cause a tingling sensation. The dual-sided pads are soft. It doesn't cause tightness when left on the skin, and it leaves a clean feeling.
ConsI'm not sure about its effectiveness in removing dead skin cells. Although I don't wear heavy makeup, one pad only covers half of my face. The pads are a bit thin. Considering its popularity, it's not particularly impressive. There's a slight tightness when opening your mouth or moving your face. A second cleanse is necessary. Oh, and it doesn't come with tweezers, which is really disappointing...
TipThis would be great for oily skin. I'd also recommend it for men who wear makeup.

I started using it from February 6th! I have super sensitive skin that once turned bright red immediately after using a pad that everyone around me had raved about. Since then, I hadn't used any pads at all. First of all, I was relieved that my skin didn't react negatively. I also appreciated its effectiveness in removing dead skin cells, the convenience of being able to use it even with damp hands, and the fact that it didn't dry out my skin!
ConsIt would be great if it could remove mascara too, but that's what lip and eye makeup remover is for.
TipAbove all, I highly recommend using this pad in the morning! At night, I tend to apply a lot of product due to dryness, which can leave my skin feeling uncomfortable if I only rinse with water in the morning. However, by gently wiping with one of these pads and then rinsing with water, that discomfort disappears. It seems to somewhat manage dead skin cells too, allowing makeup to apply smoothly. It's truly excellent!

I owe this to good cleansing habits! Even on days when I'm so tired I feel like I'm sinking into the ground, I always make sure to cleanse. I do home care 1-2 times a week too. It's all about maintenance, maintenance, maintenance! When I applied to test these cleansing pads, I was a bit worried. They're pads, but with 'cleansing' in the name... (But this turned out to be a big misunderstanding on my part!) I thought the main purpose of cleansing was to remove makeup and impurities, so I expected the ingredients to be harsh or the pad surface to be rough. (Another big misunderstanding!) [What I liked] 1. Packaging It comes in a plastic container with a flip-top lid. The container itself has some weight, so it's not really portable. 2. Gentleness I thought the textured surface would irritate my skin, but not at all! And because it's slightly acidic, there's no redness or tingling sensation whatsoever. 3. Cleansing effectiveness For point makeup, I use: Makeup remover -> First cleanse with cleansing water -> Second cleanse with these pads I didn't use the pads for point makeup (lipstick/eye makeup) as I thought a dedicated remover would work better. When I first got the product, I tried using just the cleansing pads without cleansing water, and while the cleansing power was excellent, one pad wasn't enough for my whole face. Now I use cleansing water first, then the pads - and let me tell you, this combination is highly recommended! Even after using cleansing water, the pad still picks up foundation. What's that about?! Compared to using cleansing water followed by a foaming cleanser, using these pads after cleansing water and before foam cleansing leaves my skin feeling moist and clean rather than squeaky clean. (I use gentle products for cleansing water and foam too, so there's no irritation!)
Cons[Room for improvement] The pads are too small compared to my face size, so one pad isn't enough (tears rolling down... why is my face so big?!)
TipIt feels great when you use them straight from the fridge!

I was curious about toner pads and cleansing pads, and this is my first time using them. The container is quite large, and the citrusy scent is pleasant and not off-putting. I usually only wear sunscreen without makeup, and it removes sun gel and eyebrow makeup very well. It's moisturizing and gentle, not irritating. I've heard it can sting if it gets in your eyes, so I started with my cheeks and forehead, then flipped the pad to gently wipe around my eyes and mouth. Using it in this order should prevent it from getting into your eyes. It's great for those lazy days when you want to quickly wipe and do a quick cleanse. I used to feel uneasy just washing with cleansing gel, but this is said to be good at removing fine dust too, and my skin feels cleaner than usual. It definitely removes impurities and dead skin cells! After cleansing, the white residue on my nose is gone. There's very little irritation when wiping, and it leaves a refreshing feeling. The irritation is less than expected - if you don't wipe too hard, it's fine. As I have sensitive skin and don't wear makeup, using it about three times a week should be enough. I can't use physical exfoliants too often... I'll definitely flip the pad and be extra gentle when wiping around my eyes. It doesn't usually get into my eyes, but I'm worried about under-eye wrinkles... Every time I open it, the pads are still sufficiently moist even as I'm nearing the end. The container is easy to open and close too.
ConsThe only downside is that there's still some physical exfoliation, even when wiping gently, so daily use might be too much.

I'm 10000% satisfied! Skin type: My skin is super sensitive, prone to contact dermatitis, and reacts to even the slightest change in water. I've tried all the gentle pads on the market, but for me, pads always meant irritation... I was worried this time too, but these are incredibly gentle! After receiving them as part of an event, I replaced my previous cleansing oil with these, and honestly, there's zero dryness after using the pads. They suit me so well! I feel like my skin actually improves the day after using these for cleansing! Texture: When I first used them, there was a slight cool sensation as I wiped my face, which made me worry about a potential reaction. But after a moment, there was no tightness at all. Instead, it felt like I had applied a rich emulsion and then wiped it off, leaving my skin feeling firm and supple! I loved this aspect! I always remove my makeup before working out, and even after wiping with these pads, there was absolutely no skin tightness, which was great! Cleansing effectiveness: As you can see in the attached photos, these pads are huge compared to regular ones! They're large enough to thoroughly remove heavy makeup. I use the embossed side first, then flip it over for a second pass. It removes pretty much all makeup except mascara effectively! Ingredients: I think the reason why my skin didn't have any blemishes or major reactions is because these are mildly acidic pads, similar to skin's natural pH! I've heard that skin pH is important, so I mostly use mildly acidic products like cleansing foam and cream. Using these mildly acidic pads followed by a mildly acidic foam cleanser for double cleansing seems to really balance my skin. I used these with my mom and sister, who have different skin types. My sister with dry skin and my mom in her 50s both used them without any irritation or blemishes. I really love this aspect!
ConsWhile these pads work amazingly for my skin and might become my holy grail, the downside is that they don't remove mascara well. I use Clio's waterproof mascara, and while the pads remove eyeliner effectively, they don't clean off mascara completely. I had to use a separate remover for that! It would be more hygienic and convenient if there was a small tweezer-like tool included to pick up the pads.
TipI was so satisfied that I looked into purchasing more. I found out that if you favorite the Nightingale Naver store, you can get a 1,000 won discount and buy them for 15,000 won with free shipping!

I have combination skin and my skin doesn't usually react badly even if I use any cosmetics or sleep with makeup on. However, if the oil and moisture balance is off, my skin feels tight, dead skin cells appear, and if my skin barrier is compromised, I get mysterious red spots or a tingling sensation. I rarely get acne, but occasionally get small blemishes. Please keep this in mind. 1. Product Packaging: Excellent The plastic container with a snap-on lid is convenient to open and close. I've carried it in my bag, and the liquid inside didn't leak. It's a bit heavy, so it might be better suited for use in one location rather than carrying around. 2. Irritation: Outstanding The pads are very soft, making for a pleasant user experience. Despite the need for repeated wiping due to its cleansing nature, there was no irritation. The embossed side was particularly gentle. The fact that it's a low pH cleansing water is great for minimizing skin irritation and maintaining the skin barrier. 3. Ingredients: Very Good The ingredients seem gentle and good. Surprisingly, despite its pleasant scent, it doesn't contain added fragrances. There was one potentially allergenic ingredient, but it didn't cause any issues for me. 4. Cleansing Effectiveness: Good It removed most skin makeup, but I did a hand test for accurate assessment. Removes: - Sunscreen (probably not waterproof) - Foundation (requires thorough rubbing to remove 98%, including from pores and wrinkles) - Eyeshadow - Eyebrow makeup - Lipstick (careful removal needed for product in fine lines) Doesn't Remove: - Mascara - Clear mascara - Waterproof products - Eyeliner - Long-lasting tints For these, I recommend using a separate lip and eye makeup remover. In terms of cleansing power, this product falls in the middle range. I recommend using this as a first cleanse, followed by a foam cleanser. 5. Scent: Very Good The scent was really nice, with a lemony fragrance. I was initially concerned about irritation due to the citrusy scent, but there was almost no irritation when used.
ConsAs it's a cleansing product, the cleansing power was the most disappointing aspect. While it seemed fine when used on my face, the hand test revealed that thorough removal requires a lot of rubbing. However, the cotton pads were relatively non-irritating, which was good. Also, the skin dries quickly after cleansing, so I recommend quickly following up with a second cleanse and immediately applying an emulsion.
TipFor a gentler removal, place the pad on the area you want to cleanse, hold it for about 10 seconds, and then wipe.

I was worried because of the preconception that it might be irritating due to its slightly acidic nature, but that wasn't the case at all. It was surprisingly gentle, and even when removing makeup around my delicate eye area, I didn't feel any stinging or irritation. Most importantly, my sensitive skin didn't react or peel the next day, which convinced me that the ingredients are truly gentle. I've been using Bioderma cleansing water for four bottles straight, and I was skeptical about whether cleansing pads would be effective. But wow! I was surprised to find that it removed makeup even more cleanly and with less irritation! The packaging is really convenient to use. It's not a twist-open type, but a flip-top lid, which is a game-changer for me who used to open cleansing water, soak a cotton pad, and then wipe. It's amazing! It's so easy to just open, pull out a sheet, and wipe. Since I received this product, I hardly reach for my cleansing waters anymore. I think I'd be willing to spend my own money on this again. I highly recommend it to pad newbies like myself!
ConsOne pad feels a bit insufficient to cleanse the entire face, but using two seems wasteful. While the ingredients are certainly gentle, it lacks the cleansing power to perfectly remove eye makeup. However, that's the same with other cleansing waters, so I always use a separate eye makeup remover. If you're planning to remove eye makeup with these cleansing pads, they might be a bit inadequate.

After cleansing, there was no tightness at all, and my skin actually felt more hydrated. Blemishes and irritation - While I don't have extremely sensitive skin, I've recently experienced some skin issues and have become more sensitive lately. Products that don't suit my skin type or cause even slight irritation can lead to blemishes. However, after using this cleanser, I didn't experience any breakouts. I was initially a bit nervous about the lemon scent, but it was incredibly moisturizing and hydrating. It even seemed to brighten my complexion. My sister, who has acne-prone oily skin, also tried it and didn't feel any irritation, saying it seemed fine. Abundant essence - The amount of liquid on the pad was plentiful, making it easy to cleanse the entire face without any issues. Some cleansing wipes don't have enough liquid and dry out before you finish cleansing, but these pads have enough essence absorbed in each layer to keep them moist throughout the cleansing process. Cleansing effectiveness (for base makeup) - It had no problem removing foundation. I always do a second cleanse with a foam cleanser regardless of whether I use oil or cleansing cream (it feels incomplete without rinsing with water). Considering the two-step cleansing, I think its cleansing power is comparable to other cleansing products. I'll mention the drawbacks in the 'cons' section.
ConsCleansing effectiveness (for eye makeup) - While it easily removed base makeup and lip products, it honestly didn't work well for eye makeup. It might be fine for simple things like eyebrows or eyeshadow, but it barely removed waterproof eyeliner or mascara. You'll definitely need to use a separate lip and eye makeup remover for eye makeup. Also, it stung quite a bit if the liquid got into my eyes. While it didn't irritate my skin, you'll need to be careful around the eye area as it's more sensitive. Our eyes are precious, after all. Pad size - I don't think I have a particularly small face, but I don't consider it large either... The size of one pad was too small to cleanse my entire face. However, using two pads felt wasteful. You can manage to cleanse everything with one pad if you use it thoroughly. Fortunately, the pads are saturated with plenty of essence, so even though they're small, they're effective.
