Exfoliation Magic: I've used exfoliating toners before, but after trying these pads, I finally understood what true dead skin cell removal feels like. My skin texture became incredibly smooth, making it perfect for nighttime care. Especially when used in the morning before makeup, it creates such a flawless base that my makeup applies beautifully - it's an amazing feeling! Though I haven't tried other pads, I don't think I'll ever switch. For my super sensitive skin, it doesn't cause any issues and actually helps refine my complexion. Blemish Savior: For those with sensitive combination skin prone to blemishes, changing even one skincare product can be worrisome and a bit scary. I was initially concerned that a toner pad might be too heavy and cause breakouts, but it's surprisingly lightweight and absorbs perfectly into the skin. The texture seems ideal for those with dry skin to use right now. It's gentle enough that it shouldn't trigger blemishes. In fact, it helped improve my acne scars and small bumps by effectively removing dead skin cells. Of course, results may vary! Convenience Factor: Previously, I had to buy separate cotton pads and soak them with toner. Now, I can just pull out a pre-soaked pad and swipe it on - it's incredibly convenient. I can't believe I didn't start using these sooner!
Price vs. Quantity: This is truly the biggest drawback. Having to buy a new pack almost every month is a bit... well, slightly burdensome on the wallet. I wish they came in a larger size, but since they're exposed daily, there might be concerns about bacterial contamination. The current quantity is a bit disappointing. I'll have to stock up during sales! Lack of Tweezers: Since the pads are stacked together, you need to separate them one by one. I expected some kind of lens tweezer-like tool to be included, but there were just pads in the container, which was a bit disappointing. It would be nice if they included a small pair of tweezers, similar to the spatulas that come with jar creams.
Great for Touch-ups: These pads are excellent for makeup touch-ups! Buy a small ziplock bag from a dollar store, put a couple of pads in it, and carry them with you. When you need to touch up your makeup, use a pad to cleanse and then reapply. It works perfectly for clean touch-ups! Since these pads both cleanse and hydrate, I found them ideal for on-the-go use.
