ConsSince I have oily skin, when I apply this, my face looks even more greasy, and after using it, my skin became bumpy and I started getting breakouts.
TipI don't recommend this to people with even slightly sensitive skin. After using it, my skin became bumpy.

It was convenient because I didn't have to spread it out with my hands. It was easy to use on my face as well as my body.
ConsIt feels very sticky. It seems to have a lot of oil. Dust and such also stick to it easily, so I have to wipe it once with a tissue before using it. There is the hassle of having to apply powder once more after putting it on because of the stickiness. I've been using it only on my body because bumps like milia or itchiness appear.
TipUse a no-sebum powder or oil blotting paper to remove the oiliness.

You just need to swipe it on without having to touch it, making it very convenient to use.
ConsI have combination and sensitive skin with acne. I was looking for an easy sunscreen stick and saw a lot of positive reviews about it on a blog, so I bought it. But after using it, my closed comedones and inflammatory acne exploded like never before. At first, I didn't know what was causing the skin issues, and just thought something was wrong with my skin. But recently, when I thought about the new cosmetics I had started using, I realized it was because of the Etude House sunscreen stick. As soon as I stopped using the sunscreen stick, the visible closed comedones started decreasing and the redness also settled down a lot.

I referred to Director Pai's videos and blog before purchasing. I bought it during a 1+1 promotion... That's the general purchase process.
ConsWhen I applied it to my face: 1. Oiliness... x500 My face just felt like pure oil ㅜㅜ It's been a while since I've had that feeling. I used to be combination/oily, but my skin has been changing to dry, with only the T-zone being oily. After applying this and then my usual BB cream, it was a total disaster... Forget about having a nice skin finish, I just wanted to wash my face because it was so oily ㅠㅠ 2. Breakouts... Goodbye ㅠㅠ The entire area I applied it to became red and irritated, like contact dermatitis. It was painful and stinging ㅠㅠㅠㅠ Ugh... This product is definitely on the worst breakout list. 3. When I applied it to my body No particular effect... I was curious if it would provide some protection, and I vaguely believed it would, but I'm not sure. After experiencing the contact dermatitis-like breakouts on my face, I was hesitant to apply it to my body as well. I'm not using it anymore.
TipI bought it because the ingredients were supposedly good, but it's all useless and doesn't work for me ㅠㅠ Sensitive skin types should definitely avoid this.

Driven by a sense of duty to provide as much detailed information as possible, I'll start with my skin type. My skin type is oily with dehydration. While I no longer experience severe cystic acne, during my adolescence, my forehead and cheeks were plagued by an oil explosion, leaving hardly any clear skin. Currently, I have the occasional small pimple and a few areas on my cheekbones and forehead that show signs of sebaceous hyperplasia (this is a term I just learned today). Within a minute of cleansing, my face begins to feel tight, but in an effort to give my skin a break, I leave it bare, and within 1-2 hours, I can see oil gradually surfacing from my pores. Particularly in the T-zone, the oil is so abundant that I can count the number of spots it leaves on blotting paper. Living in the UK, I have difficulty obtaining Korean cosmetics, so I rely on eBay, Amazon, or requests from family to purchase the products I need. This particular sunscreen stick was one I picked up during a business trip to Hong Kong, along with some other basic skincare items. I bought it on the recommendation of the Etude House sales associate, without even reading the (limited) reviews on Hwahae. The upside is that it's incredibly convenient. I don't have to wash my hands after applying, and the solid format means I don't have to worry about leaks or spills in my gym bag. Just swipe it on after my skincare routine and I'm good to go - it's so easy and nice. I think I'm done with cream/gel type sunscreens for good.
ConsHowever... 😒 After diligently using gentle cleansers like the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo+ and other mild products (Dokdo Toner, Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Color Clay Mask), as well as oils (like tamanu oil) for several months to clear up my blemishes, they have come back with a vengeance, particularly on my forehead, and I'm now seeing small, clogged pores and emerging cystic acne. While this was a recommended product from a popular YouTuber, I only have myself to blame for the impulse purchase without first reading reviews from actual users. And to top it off, I bought it during a trip to Hong Kong, so I can't even recall the exact price I paid, though that's beside the point. What frustrates me more is that I didn't even bother to check other users' experiences before jumping in, and now it seems I've managed to undo all the progress I had made with my skin. The ingredients don't seem overtly bad, but something in this product has clearly triggered a reaction. I think I need to start compiling an Excel chart to compare the formulations of all the sunscreens I've used so far. People with skin as finicky as mine really need that level of diligence.
