*The Hwahae Testers review* This is my first time being selected for The Hwahae Testers. I've used it for about a week and I'm writing my honest thoughts. ●Staying power It lasts a long time. When I come back from being out, there's just a bit of oil on my T-zone, but it stays well on my skin. I'm satisfied. It doesn't break down messily, and there's no caking around the nose. After wearing it for a while, the area around my nose does get a bit red. I don't apply it too thickly, so that might be why I didn't experience any caking. I have skin that tends to separate makeup a bit, and it did slightly, but not much. If you have very dry skin, it might separate more. ●Skin appearance It makes the skin look good. It's not too matte, so even for me with dehydrated skin, it doesn't separate much and looks fine. There's also a bit of a glow, which I like. Compared to serum foundations, those give a better skin appearance, probably because they're more moisturizing. ●Texture I thought serum foundations were thin when I used them, so I expected this wouldn't be, but it's quite thin too. That's probably why it's not drying. It's quite moisturizing. But because of that, the coverage might not be great... You might need to layer it for coverage. ●Oxidation There was no oxidation. ●Price I felt this when using serum foundations too, but the amount is generous. I wonder when I'll finish it... haha. Considering the amount, the price is reasonable. Thinking about the cost of one cushion... it's good value for money.
●Coverage I bought and used a serum foundation before, and its coverage was really... not good. This one covers better than that, I could definitely feel the improvement. But I couldn't say it covers well. It feels like I need to apply another layer for good coverage... It covers redness well, but for my skin with acne scars, it doesn't cover perfectly, so I use concealer or cushion. If you don't have much to cover, the coverage should be fine for you. ●Blemishes It causes blemishes.... When I used the serum foundation, I thought 'Oh, I'm getting some spots?' after using it for quite a while, but with this one, after about two days I realized 'Ah, this is causing blemishes'... I kept using it because I had to write a review, but on days I didn't use it, the blemishes definitely subsided. They're not big, just small blemishes. I don't have particularly sensitive skin, but maybe because I have acne-prone skin, anyway, it causes blemishes. In the photo, the circled areas are blemishes that appeared after using it for about two days. They were all raised, but I put patches on them so only marks are left. It's not during my menstrual period, and I haven't changed any other cosmetics. I do have acne-prone skin, but before using this, all my blemishes had subsided.
If it seems to be separating, applying it with a damp puff prevents separation. But then the coverage becomes... even less... In the photo, from left to right (Double Lasting Neutral Vanilla, Maybelline Fit Me 110, Serum Foundation Rosy Pure) Fit Me seems to have a yellow base, while Rosy Pure has a pink base.
