There are scrub particles in the foam which can be irritating. Those with thin or super sensitive skin should be cautious when using this product.

The texture is closer to a gel than a foam, but the lather is more like a foam (bouncy and rich). When cleansing, it doesn't have the slippery feeling typical of low pH cleansers, and leaves the skin feeling hydrated after rinsing.
