* Regular foundation: Lancôme Teint Miracle P01, P03 While I'm not usually a fan of matte foundations, the Lasting Foundation has a texture that leans more towards matte than dewy. Longevity ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - Stays put as well as Estée Lauder - Doesn't break down patchily - Impressive staying power for its price point Coverage ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - Provides good coverage due to its thicker consistency - Downside: tends to settle into pores due to its formula Shade ⭐️⭐️⭐️ - Appreciably free of yellow undertones - Lighter than expected - Works well as a highlight on the center of the face
1. As someone with visible pores, matte formulas tend to emphasize them. The Lasting Foundation also shows some pore-settling issues. 2. While I'm unsure about its performance in summer, it feels quite drying for winter use. Even mixing it with MAC Strobe Cream doesn't fully address the dryness. (This may vary depending on your skin type!)
For winter use, it's best applied over a solid skincare routine!
