My friend got two samples from Etude House and shared them with me. Oh my goodness, I can't believe how amazing they are! I just had to buy the full size. First off, I'm someone who started a new life after trying MAC Chili lipstick, convinced I have a deep undertone. Then I heard this crazy idea that using a foundation one shade lighter than your skin tone, especially with a cool-toned pink base, can make your face look radiant. So I took the plunge without hesitation. And wow, it's truly fantastic! While my color makeup is warm-toned, a cool-toned base suits my skin perfectly. The coverage is great too. I've always had this unfair situation where my face looks dull compared to my neck, arms, chest, and stomach which are naturally brighter. I honestly wish I could swap my face's complexion! Anyway, this product's shade is a perfect match for my unique case, and Rosy Pure has once again come to my rescue. One of this product's standout features is its coverage and staying power. Even when my long-lasting Peripera tint starts to fade, this base remains unchanged - both in tone and coverage. It's like it's telling me, 'I've got you covered from now on' when I look in the mirror (sorry for the cheesiness!). I just love it so much... it's mine forever! Well, maybe not quite as much as I love Noh Tae-hyun, but close!
Well, I've been betrayed by my trusted foundation... or rather, my trusted foundation has betrayed my skin with blemishes. I'm not sure if it was improper cleansing or if the ingredients didn't agree with me. This is a first for me, as I've never had issues with blemishes before, regardless of what products I use. It's quite disheartening to see five new blemishes pop up - two on my left cheek, two on my forehead near the hairline, and one under my right eye. But hey, they disappeared quickly! Nobody's perfect, right? There's no such thing as perfection in this world, so I can overlook this minor hiccup!
This is truly a great tip. I highly recommend trying a foundation that's one shade lighter than your skin tone or using a pink-based one. It's definitely worth a shot!
